ok , i have a thought...i think it would help the community too !
i hear alot people here in VOID just dont have the pc specs needed to play the new mod ! this is sad because of several reason....one , those with a lower end pc cant play the new mod with us and second , a good mod has to be reduced of its content to allow these players to join in the fun !! and im sure theres more reasons....
well , im sitting here looking at some older pc parts that are not being used , and wont be used by me again..
what do you all think of maybe a donation area of old pc parts for voidians ?
lets say i have a processor , ram and some hard drives...i could post what i have in the forums and people would pm me for the parts they need !
anyone could post what they have for old parts , i know theres probably some out there who have more parts than i do and the parts are probably collecting dust !! or as my friends dad says there "high-tech doorstops"
regardless if the new mod is being reduced , WE could still do this to help those not able to upgrade , for what ever reason....
i am willing to give away some of my older pc parts to help those that honestly need it.....cpu , ram , hd's , power supply , cases ect ect ect....
i cant really donate $$ to void and im sure others cant either , but maybe we can help out in this way ?
thoughts please !! ?

just keep in mind that some parts" wont work in some areas" of the world take into consideration pal / ntsc video cards some 120 only power supplys proper vac voltage loads and stuff

What could do the trick is an established E-Bay account. I know nothing about seting up such an account , but I guess someone does. Since a shipping cost would be incurred the Buyer as they could be called could trade with on-game monies. But as it was said before, we in the US would Give/Trade Hardware within the US, thoughs of you in Europe Give/Trade in Europe. Asians with Asians, If this mod is causing such a stir with others using it on older computers, then maybe the Void Admin should post the System Requirments for the mod, here now and in the future.

Good idea, i have various bite of PC stuff I don't need and would give away to Void players, its the memory that is the main issue (I have some old PC 133/100).
It seems that this is all too late as the mod is being modified to allow ower spec machines to run it.

It is a great idea,but then again when u go down to the details,as Gannon put it there might be difficulties.
But i still think it is worth a try.Many people do need and as time goes by the Void Mod will only get bigger and bigger,so this kind of thing would turn out to be quite important.
