corrupt player files (everyone read please)

ok i think we all know that the server has been a little under the weather lately. i will let strail tell you what can causes this as i am no modder. however there are some reports coming to me in game that you all need to watch for, as it could corrupt your players files.

in the last few day i have had serveral greens about players having more than 120 cm or other reloadable items. today i had a guy i trust tell me he just looked and had 700 cm.

ok if you see that on your ship try and drop it in space right away. back down to the normal level of 120. this can corrupt your files and cause server lag and crashes. if you think you have a ship that might have had this problem please let one of the staff know so strail can look at it. it might just help settle down the server. making it more fun for both you and your m8's. dont try to land and sell it. when you land it becomes a save point. if i am correct on that i think, strail or kahless can correct me if i am wrong.

so please keep an eye on your equipment and load outs. make sure you dont corrupt your files causing you and others alot of headachs.

as we speak, i'm holding 165 or so sunslayers in my Outcasts character, so *BUMP*

When i'l checked it, there was 128 cm on my Vyper, i'l dropped the plus "cargo".Thks 4 anounced it!

I don't know if my files were corrupt, or only game prb., but i'l let npc's shot me down,and after ,changed the Vyper to Wa, and then all return to normal.

this is for you dave29 an anyone else who thinks his way. we dont have a bunch of cheaters on this server. the anti cheat would kick players if they were hacking the way you think they are. what you and i am sure some others are experencing is uber lag. you can shoot someone and not see any results. i have been killing npc only to see them blow up a godd 5 sec after i kill them because of lag.

when there are char on the server that have problems with there files it can crash the server or lag it really bad. now most of use who play all the time know that the server has been much laggier than nomal in past week or so. so we must assume that now there are some bad files out there. this is why it is important to keep an eye on you char and report anything weird you see. please do not accuse players of cheating because of lag. it only creates problems for you and others.

if you truely think someone is cheating report it to a void or admin. you confronting them yourself is going to solve nothing as you do not have the power to kick or even check the player, plus you could tip them off before the staff has a chance to look them over. so please just report to staff and play the game
