This has been debated back and forward more often than any of us care to think.  I will make this as breif as possible and this is NOT open for debate.  Read, Digest and Follow.  This is for the benefit of some of the newer players.

Regenerating is NOT against the rules.  When entering into PvP combat it is advisable to check if regeneration is to be permitted.  Unwritten rules for PvP (a "gentlemans agreement" if you will) say that regeneration is not to be undertaken during a round of combat as this extends the round for longer than the more experienced players care to undertake. It makes for quicker rounds of combat and therefore (for both parties) a more satisfying game experience.

One of the aspects of fighting on the VOID involves clans flying together against their opposition.  Inevitably there will be occasions when people are out numbered.  This occurs on both sides from time to time. In the heat of any fight there are moments when we feel we have to say something.  Unless its between pals and team mates this tends to be counter productive as even if it is not meant seriously it can be misunderstood.  I urge you all not to make derisory comments in open system chat as this can be construed as being harassment.  You would do well to remember it.

Comments like "OMFG, he just regened in front of me!"  and "Dont say GF to them, they are regeners" will be treated as harassment and punished accordingly.  Should a player choose to regenerate if not previously agreed then that is not against the rules.  Some players after a turn of combat and waiting the next will remove themselves from the combat arena and regenerate out of sight of their opponents.  Dont do this in sight of others as this raises the whole question of Regenerating during PvP.

In any multiplayer combat it is recognised that the PvP "rules" should come into play.  Dont forget that there are those with setups that due to any system lag and the combination of REGEN enhancers and fast repairing sheilds can give the illusion of "regening".

To conclude:  Open accusations of regening will be treated as harassment.  So will dock sitting. That is waiting at a docking point for the opposing player to respawn and then shoot him down as soon as he exits the dock. Dont be surprised if they try to regenerate when you do this.  That behaviour combined with the accusations of regening will not be tolerated.

Regenerating in order to out run an opponent and escape with your life and cargo is perfectly acceptable. It is accepted that under such circumstances the target (ie the regener) does not return fire. If they have attempted to fight their way out of the situation & if they have returned fire then under those circumstances the Unwritten PvP rules apply.

This is not open for negotiation - it has been gone over before. You have been warned.
