Ultimate Void movie

Alright. I am looking for volunteers to make me the ultimate Void movie. We have a couple of talented movie makers here so this is your chance.

We have seen a couple of brilliant void movies before. But this movie has to surpass every previous one made. And of course it has to be better than movies from any other server lol.
There are a few requirements to be met:

- It can't be too long, nor too short. Let's say something around 5 minutes in length.
- It has to include as many information about the features of the Void server as possible. The things that make the Void unique compared to other servers should be highlighted.
- It cannot have the emphasis on specific clans. If there are going to be clans (-ships) in the movie, it should depict a general picture of the clans in Void, not 1 clan singled out.
- It should be at the highest quality one could make it in.

- It has to give you goosebumps when seeing it. Music can contribute to this. So the right music needs to be picked. Personally I loved one of the last ones which had Enigma and some others in it. But it's up to what you think fits best. But it should have a bit of a sinister / mysterious sound to it.

Keep in mind that this movie is going to be used for active advertisement purposes. It will have a big part in depicting the Void Server to the outside world. And in a time where other more advanced games see the light, it should knock people off their feet when they watch it and make them log on right after watching it. It has to be thrilling, teasing, exiting, impressive, etc.

There is no rush in this, I am looking for quality not speed. We will decide which one we are going to use when all the entries has been sent in, not sooner.

Now before you all start editing your hearts out, hold on. I don't need it just yet. This post is to get some people signed up for it and to make you start creating ideas. Like Zeb has recently pointed out, there are some developments underway. When these developments have seen their implementation, you will have a lot of inspiration to make a great movie.

In the mean time I would like for volunteers to sign up here so I have a good picture of what candidates I have.

May i sign up on this? I am aware that I am not the best movie maker here (Lots are better than me, Ares for instance) But I would like to participate in this, and if you want and need anything from me please let me know. I am currently using fraps for recording, but I can also use Xfire which (If I remember correctly) gives a higher quality. I also have the possibility to have FL on with DX9 and full graphics (my hardware says I can do) I need to get the DX9 to work though Razz

so.... If you want me to help with anything gimme a sign Smile

i can help with shooting Some videos , but i have no good talent in montaging videos Smile

i can make the soundtrack ( all composed by me , any style of music u desire ).

I am still noob in this, but I want to help. I have already some beautiful scenes from 3d systems, battleship explosions, etc...

I'm already working on this video for a few months lol... but I was waiting for a few thing to come out first ^^

And btw, I need a team of pilots to do some scenes.. but I'll make a separated post l8tr if needed.

Nah as far as I'm concerned ships are part of the game, but it would indeed be cool if the movie makers could somehow remove the HUD and menu's from the movies.

I wish my company would give me time to edit the movie in our Avid Editing suites, but somehow I don't think I'll be able to do that Razz
