It is with sorrow that I say that the IAF will probably die soon. Unfortunately we're now reduced to only 2 members: me and Alice aka CheshireCat. So, the situation is that we will not have enough members to keep the IAF alive and to bring the fun and RP excitement I was aiming and hoping for here in the void. Other servers and their gameplay have claimed the IAF members and unfortunately it comes to this: we cannot survive. It is a shame since I worked hard to keep us playing and to make us official but, I can't do anything against the rest of the members wishes to play somewhere or something else. Anyway, I'm probably going to keep playing here in the void wether as a freelancer or in a clan I know not but, the Void was my first server and I still like it. So, I just wanted to tell everyone the reason why the IAF hasn't been online this past week. I am sad but, like a good little soldier I'll recover Smile

Liliana

Consider IAF Pilot MadCat back in action until further notice.

@ Al-Mualim : You've already said that you were leaving the void in another post and we don't want to be the only reason you play. I know you have the best intentions but, there's no point in having a player back that is only temporary. It is all ok though and I'm really happy that you offered your services again since I really respect you as a great player and you know that. Thanks again for the offer Very Happy

I'ts not a matter of giving up. just realizing we can't do it only the 2 of us. People don't want to join a clan with only 2 members, I don't think we'd be able to recruit much. We weren't before and we won't now. It's ok and thanks everyone for the support but, the future is decided and you do not worry... you'll still feel my wrath in space and also Cheshire's Very Happy

1st you need to proof yourself as a good leader and fighter if you want players to join your clan.

Anyway it's up to you,it's your clan, good luck what ever you decide.

Realized that you 2 will not be enough .... hmmm  %-(
i would like to tell you one thing

With 1 good leader , Hundreds of recruits will come , With 2 Good leaders .... imagine !
Time is not a measure , so don't stay online for 1 month with no recruits joining , and then conclude that you can't do it , - Simply imagine if you are a Freelancer and New , and Wanting to join a Clan , So what you will need ? what problems you will face ?

if you knew , then supply the needs and fix the problems for the new recruits - work for them , make it easier for them to stay , maintain the Roots and you won't regret it later on.

im sorry if you still deciding to disband this clan - but i still got an offer for you , if you want to change directions and fight for good , then i got some kind of good offer , you can lead a squad under the ESF army , if interested , just contact me , links above signature.

Regards,
XENON

Home is where the heart is.  As long as you get to fly with your mates it doesnt realy matter what clan you are part of.  Its not easy.  We have seen many smaller clans become part of others and grow to be larger successful clans - such is the way of the VOID.  The decision is yours.  There are several groups here that would be quite happy to have you on board as you have all proved yourselves as worthy players and would be an asset to any clan here.  You will be more than welcome here on the VOID regardless of what tag you decided to wear.  All the best to you both (or three...!)

I think you and alice need to be online at the same time as much as possible so that when people come to the server they see IAF as good-nice people who are pwning everyone Smile When I first joined a clan there were only 2 members but they were active and They were good fighters. That is what drew me to the clan. (this was on another server with less population than void). 2 people can make a clan work.  Wink

It is not a reason of leaving, as xenon said above, try to enter the minds of the recruits, and try to find their problems, their needs.
They need help, money, trader, ship, and pvp tips, and training.

we still want evils comming :'(

Regards
McViper

1 thing, dont be too generous on money giving and that sorta thing, 80 % of the time you never see the guy you gave all your help to again. Make sure that the guy you have recruited has been on the void for a week or so and then you can generally tell which ones are going to stay and which ones will just suck up and join other clans or leave the server.

Hope that helps and good luck Very Happy
