As of today, the following information is available from the player base on The Void.
> Over 13,000 player folders active in the last 90 days (Player folders hold the characters used)
> Over 38,000 characters active in the last 90 days.
This therefore suggests that the average player has aprox. three active characters.
The Void is and has been for a long time the most popular "modded server". The Global top three servers are Hamburg City, DFLS & The Void. Hamburg and DFLS are Original Freelancer with optional mod, and well worth a visit if you want a break from The Void.
Note - modded server = Player requiring mandatory mod install prior to joining the server.
