Important Changes

The following two items are trials, to see if we can make things a little easier here...

1. Players in Pvp will now lose/win money to a maximum of 100,000 - There is a formula based on other variations included - ship type v's ship type etc. So you wont always win the amount stated.


2. For a short time and for a test, I have enabled PVP in Alexandria for those players level 50 and above. Below this level, pvp will be like New York - nothing happens.

I have taken the view that level 50 will mostly include players who have spent some time on the server and understand the issues we face.

Taxing in Alexandria is therefore allowed on those level 50 and above, taxing below this level is irrelevent anyway.


These are tests and we will change back if we find major problmes with these new changes.

Sounds good, im not a great fan of the money when you die though, It makes things more difficult when you just wanna have a laugh and fight between friends.

But lets see how it goes on the trial.

Great work on the lvl 50 and above pvp in Alex. Im sure that will work a treat.

The only thi9ng i dont like is alex a pvp again. the idea about money is great but alex as a pvp again just means camping , as long as the gates in alex are pvp there will be serious camping at them. but i like the idea of giving alex a try again , good choice.

I dont like, really dont like, the idea. And I am sure that I could win more money than I lose, but is not really a money question, is the idea

1. Only good for best pilots
2. new ppl work hard to start, now they have to work harder
3. Training would be more expensive (time and money) for all
4. Ganag banging is now a profitable business
5. To be killed was an honor question, now is a money question too.

I can write more reasons, about pvp activity, abuses  etc... but I hope I am wrong and I hope it never happen. We would see.

I hope nobody feel bad about this, just an opinion

i like the money idea , i really like the idea of getting alex back to pvp for over 50s .
one question , what happens if the person has no money and loses??

here are my thoughts.....

first the PVP cash idea

i like the idea of winning money for pvp fights but maybe instead of  winning cash after winning every pvp can it be set to after 3 wins in a row...5 wins...etc like the god like messages we used to get?????

reason i ask is if people get cash after winning every fight some people are gonna start ganging up on other low level people to get cash and the worst kick in the teeth is the victim will then lose money aswell.

setting it to give cash if you win 3 pvps in a row is a lot better and makes a challenge and the reward much better

i think this is a great idea, always in favour of making the VOID a dangerous place
but setting it to level 50+ only is a bit high imo, as you can have a good ship with nice amount of ammo and still be under rank 50 if you dont have much cash (i got a char with MK2, full rack of annis, nomad armor, etc and is below lvl 50)

this prevents people low on funds to pvp in alex and
also if players below rank 50 are invincible to player damage what happens if they attack someone over rank 50 who is able to take damage???

do they become damageable too or are they free to wonder alex destroying anything in their way???
