is spamming missiles allowed in pvp or events ?

hi all i was just woundering if spamming missiles in pvp and events are allowed ? cause some players say i cant do this [wont mention names]. well to be honest i am not that good at pvping but because of missiles i win most of my pvps !and i haven seen anywhere where that i am not allowed to do this ! so i am confused ! ?

Missles are the part of this game,so yes you can use them.

@ Nommad - what utter BS!  - You fight you win - You fight you lose - whichever and however you choose to do that.  Your setup is YOUR choice - dont whinge just cos someone is better with the missles than you are. Dont whinge because someone is better with guns than you are. If you cant dodge missiles then maybe you are not so good at this game as you thought?  ;)  Are we all supposed to bow to one style of play? NO! That would kill this place off for certain - Space is a Dangerous Place - Scream on - I am surprised that a member of such a long standing clan could spout this sort of rubbish. @ DeathKnight - let me know who is making up rules for this server and I will see them banned to the darkest places of Hades...!!! As long as you play to the rules with WHATEVER weapons setup you choose - if it works for you - USE it. Dont listen to the BS from the so called "expert" players who get in a flap because you FRAGGED them when they least expected it and then they WHINGE at you because you used missles.

I catch ANYONE moaning about someones missile boat and I will class that as HARASSMENT - I mean it people - DONT GO THERE!

Spam all the missles you want. ACM on and a few well placed CD's to make your target blow themselves up.
They are a part of the game and it's your choice what to use.
I personally prefer GuNzZz and others go full out with missles+torps.
Missles used at the right moment are just as deadly in pvp as guns.

A true pvp'r knows how to avoid missles and keep their distance so the missles never hit them.

Although I don't use CDs, like the above post says a couple well placed CDs can humble your missle spamming target very effectively.

I have nothing against missiles since most of players use cannonballs + sunslayers here.On HC they keep telling "stop spamming".But its not my problem they use missiles too so you can use them.No one said you're not allowed to use them.

i am using a missiles ship since
november 2006 and yes you can spam missiles in events
well i think  :-?

and for the people who say that using a missile ship is easy
you are wrong
with the CD's, the CM's, missile spamming can be hard can be
if you dont know the distances and have a good timing
you will not become a good missile ship user
saying that you clik and your target die is really far from the truth
anyway this is not the first time some people moan on missiles
and its surely to the last

Missile spamming is allowed no matter what anyone says.  There is no stated rule which says "No Missile Spammng Period"
If someone moans at you, just ignore then and walk away.. or in the other case, keep killing them.  
It's your choice to use missiles not your targets choice.

This is EXTREMELY straight forward.

If you can afford to blow huge sums of money on missile ammo every time you engage in pvp or event combat then you can fire as many missiles as you want.

The ONLY time you can't use missiles is if the rules of the event you wish to participate in specify guns only.

We have invested significant time, energy, effort and cash to make sure that the server we're now running this game on has enough muscle to keep serverload below the all important 60ms. It is at this point that server guided missiles (all missile paths are controlled by the server) can no longer track a locked target. Since we've tried so hard to make sure you can use missiles and be relatively assured that they will track your target you might as well make use of them.

One thing you will quickly learn is that people do not like to lose, and when they lose they find it hard to accept responsibility for it and instead blame lag, spamming, cheating, unfair tactics or game bugs. Unfortunetly when you put a bunch of animals with testicles into a competitive arena the old cave man instincts take over and rather than be defeated the old cave man would simply kosh you over the head with the nearest available heavy object, in our world this means accusations of lag and complaints about your tactics. You just have to rise above it and play the game the way YOU want to play it, it is after all called FREElancer.
