It doesn't work for me, it gets freezy and stucked all over an over again in the installation process. however, I 'm not desperate and I believe it will be fixed as soon as possibile.

there is only one question I have bothered myself, does this mod require special hardware preferances? unfortenately, I have only 512MB of RAM, so I'm not sure I be able to play at all ...  :-<

I think that my configuration would be enough:

MB ----> ECS K8.AMD690GM-M2
CPU --> AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ AM2 socket (Dual core)
RAM --> Geil GB22GB6400C4DC (2x1GB B. Dragon 4-4-4-12)
GPU --> Ati Radeon X1650GT 256MB DDR3 128bit

And yes, Freelancer.EXE is consumping over 900MB of RAM when loading.

To Strail and the Dev/Test team:

I was disappointed to learn about the lack of new fighters.  Then I thought... how selfish.  So I went on and explored.

Freelancer is more than combat.  It's exploration, trade, negotiation, strategy.  This mod at first overwhelmed me, as the first system I decided to explore was heavily populated with dockable locations.  The REAL 3d puts a whole new spin on Freelancer!

I have seen so many beautiful sights since I started exploring.  I have 112 screencaps of Freelancer since I first bought the game.  That's 2+years.  In the six hours I was exploring last night, I made nearly 400 screenshots and capped about 1/2 hour of video.  I'm so damned impressed with this mod I can't even describe it.  You've once again made FL a place of awe and beauty, a place of wonder.  I've seen Total Conversion Mods that didn't get this detailed.

Aside from the initial problem with dacom.dll, the rollout went smooth and VOID members were more than happy to help us out.  Most of the complaining that the new-age voidians had came from the mind-shock of how BIG this mod really is.  Not only do we have all these new systems to explore, we have to re-explore the old ones, too!  Once TNG and Discovery players see what you guys have done, you're gonna have to up your player limit.

Thanks for keeping this game alive.  Thanks for making it better.  Thanks for the Mod!

I have an old AMD Athlon XP 2.0 Ghz cpu and 1 gb ram.no problems to get to mod.need 3 minutes but then it works.
Great Mod.So much new systems and Planets.That the gates in Alex are delete is a problem for new players i think to get fast money for first ship.
Perhaps get more credits new players.250 K I think
The new Planets are very far away.its good that cruise speed is now set to 450 but think about cruise speed of 600.I fly on server there this is standard and its much more easy to inspect systems without tradelanes.
Thanks for the tis mod and your hard work on it.
Its normal that a new mod gets problems if get a so small period of time to test.
But i am sure you solve all problems.
Thanks for your hard work to the Mod team.
Sory for mxy english :-(

What exactly is the mirror download? Also, is the 2115 mod still available only as .exe, or is there a .flmod version? I'd fell better about my and my computer's ability to handle the mod if it were .flmod.

LOL, kinda found that out after the fact. sometimes it pays to look at recent threads beofre shooting your mouth off.

Anyways, I can't speak for those with older PC's since my PC is a Dell XPS 400 with at least 1-2 GB of RAM and i don't know what else. But my experience with the mod was okay to say the least. It took me two tries to sucessfully install the mod (the setup engine conked out on me on the first time), and the loading time for startup was at least 3:00+; more than Flight Simulator X, which is a HUGE game in terms of data.

Once I got into the mod, i found a bunch of new stuff waiting to be explored. The load times, while not instataneous, was acceptable, along with the lag rate. I was even able to ctrl_alt_del out of the main menu and start up iTunes to play my Final Fantasy Freelancer Battle Mix playlist while playing, with little or no adverse side effects.

My only regret is not beign able to play vanilla FL now, but all thing considered, vanilla FL pales in comparision to this mod. After a few trips back and forth between Alexandria and New York, I was able to make 100K+ credits trading. I wont tell you what i traded or where to find/sell it, thats for me to know and you to find out. [-(

Anyways, school's out tomorrow, so i'll be on A LOT. Got to get my ship pimped so i can school some Nomads in the art of space warfare (a hands on lesson, this is  >:/ )
Which reminds me, to whoever runs the forums, where in blazes is my Yoda smiley?

If there will be an issue of long load all I can say it will not work
Becouse sometimes I find 30  minutes time for me so I can have fun so if I must wait for load than I will go and play something else
and I do not want to I love VOID.
so i hope this thing is settled
I can't start it, it says the "DACOM.dll" is missing? Help pls
I fixed this problem by installing the mod in the same directory of freelancer

My game was installed in C:\program files\freelancer
The mod install files in C:\program files\microsoft games\freelancer

change the installation path to your game directory....
