lol, since this topic cam up, the count of level 90 players has been reduced.
seems some guys use the sendcash function to get out of sight.

ADMINS, please follow the proposal of eagleone and rollback the player files
to the mod 2115 release date.

I'll be out of game until ADMINs decision, I don't want to waste my time

What does "no more replies" mean?

Venom, Evo, and Reaper got banned for calling Amrod a "lagger".  I guess times have changed and enforcement of rules/expectation have gotten slack...

More importantly PROFESSIONALISM has gone out the door on this server... and people wonder why I've been absent for so long.

Well my rogue buddy  :P  professionalism went along time ago when newbies came to the server and became arrogant ppl who think they are gods gift and think they run the server, but its not them that run the server its admin!! But the arrogant ppl seem to always hide behind somethin or think they never do wrong when actually things are happenin right under their noses but like i said their too arrogant to realise.

I have been on this server for awhile now and I mostly stick to myself.  I only PvP every once in a while as I just enjoy the game for what it is PvP is not the only thing Freelancer is good for. I do not post in the forums that often , less than 10 times since I signed up, I prefer to just sit back and read.  As a Police Officer of over 15 years, along with all my computer experiance, I do not like to judge people until I have seen all the facts and made my own conclusions.  I do not know what the deal is with some of the people here that seem to post just to see there name on the right next to a large number, on every topic they have to add their two cents even if the topic has nothing to do with them and three quarters of their posts look like they are trolling for a fight or just an attempt to flame.  

  As I look over the server rules one sticks out......

Please speak to them in a civil manner; it is unlikely that you will be helped if you are abusive or ill mannered. Likewise, in the event that a player feels that one of the server staff has dealt with them in an unfair manner, please PM Strail or TIODS here on the website with the details.

  Now theese rules read as if they are ment for within the game itself, but as the Forums are also hosted on a "Server" the "Server Rules" can apply here.  If you have a problem with an Admin posting a reply insulting them in the public forums is in violation of this very rule above.  An admin has earned that position for a reason and you may not respect the person in the position but you need to respect the position. Blasting them in public will tell me that you do not care about the rule so if you do not care about one you do not care about them all.  Following the rules means you follow them all, if you do not like it this is a GAME stop playing.  

 Now I do enjoy your site and what I really enjoy is on the front page concerning The True Elite Voidan Characteristics in my Point of View post.  

 Lets look at rule 1.....

1- They Are Wise Players , Gamers who dont mix Game with Personal actions , So when it reaches that edge , they know that the solution for it is to """ Step away from the keyboard """" ..

 In your own words step away from the keyboard.  Instead you continue to reply, as posted above all your post have enough said, no more replies or something to that affect and yet there is another post and there will be one following this one too!

 On to 3.....

3- They Are Totally and Completely knwoing the server rules that stats " regenning is possible " but they never Regen in battle so they can add more Excitement and Fun to the game.

  Glad you touched on regenning but what about , "On the server there are two tags which will identify the Server staff, both have authority to uphold the server rules and help all players. They are tagged [ADMIN] and [VOID]. When trying to talk to them in game, please remember that they have many tasks and responsibilities, therefore they may not be able to respond to you straight away, please be patient. Please speak to them in a civil manner; it is unlikely that you will be helped if you are abusive or ill mannered.   On to 4.....

4- They Are the ones who Face the insults and the impolite Accusations toward them by being Totally Calm down and using the /mute command which is the fastest solution that the server provided us with.

   This could be used in the fourms also and just not read the post or step away from the keyboard.

  On to 5.....

5- They are the Ones who dont use this pretty forums for evil or low Purposes , so they stay away from flames and dont argue for the only aim of Arguing ...

  I do not even want to provide examples of this as I think there is a limit on the space.


 Following 3 out 7 not a good average there.  


I know this is off topic so to bring it back on topic I think I would not be to happy to have to go back to when the new MOD was up and running, as much as I like to do my own thing and explore I do not wish to do this all over again.

I will try to put the topic back on the rails again friend, but which new mod are you referring to, 2112 or 2115 cuz IMHO 2115 hasn't really been up all that long to be considered a permanent mod, and tbh 2112 is still kinda new to me since I left during the wipe of 2112's release and just came back a few months ago.

I haven't any idea what the exploit is that everyone is talking about I have done little but search and search for the gunboat base. In fact I have no level 90 or anywhere even close I have a lot of ships around 60. A LOT. You'd be surprised. I have enough credz and earned them all before 2115 release. I wish this nonsense would just get resolved already I haven't flown in two weeks I'm getting.... disgruntled. Anyone who knows me knows this is unusual.

So, one of you Void vets make a GD poll already of what we should do; Wipe, Roll back to 2112 backup, Keep this dysfunctional crap going, etc. etc. Lets let the players have an input.

Lets get this resolved before I move from disgruntled to peeved.

I read this with great interest.  I have checked back on several threads. Its taken a bit of reading.  Level 90's that got their cash illegaly should 'fess up and return the dosh either by deleting the character or transfering the money to the nearest ADMIN / VOID.  Just my thought.  

Seems to me that this Zeb bloke is a bit of a tough cookie. I havent noticed any other server guard standing up to some of the slightly ridiculous accusations that appear from time to time. Maybe thats because Im not on here that often.  Dodger, I know this is the "fantasy" world but how do you deal with someone that decides to argue with your authourity?  From what I can see Xenon is still here.  Zeb is quite clear what he is saying and I dont think he said anything about a banned player being back with ESF, but that Xenon knows where this previously banned player is hiding - at least thats what I'm reading.  If it was me I would back down just for the sake of a quiet life and just nod and say "Yes Zeb" - whether I meant it or not ....

URAMI has a point though.  Its like a compulsion to post seems to have affected some peoples mental capacity to step away from the keyboard...!

I like it here.  I dont say much and Im not on that often.  Zeb, you do what you have to do mate to keep this place civil.  From reading your previous stuff this seems to have built up over a period of time and it appears to be directed at one person rather than the entire clan.  Me? I'm staying out of this one and keeping my head below the parapet - I dont want it to get shot off, thanks!

Back on topic - Level 90's that pop up like spring flowers need looking into - I'm knockin' my pan in trying to make an honest living on here and to see them sprout like fungus is a little annoying at the very least - but then I tend to try and keep my self to my self - thats why I joined AoF...! I will abide by whatever the ADMINS and VOID do or say - I will argue my case in PRIVATE and not drag it into the light.

When i see the player i see what is he/she like and in what group is he/she so I know what can I expect from them, I almost never watch the rank, only rank I watch is tags of server staff and tags of my allies, enemies...

If there is a chance to revert back but to keep our nav maps of new explored systems intact I vote do it if it means that i will loose all that time flying around and visiting all that bases then NO !!!!
all off you siting in 1 system and fighting would not loose anyathing but all of players flying around and exploring would loose much and that is not counted as $$

@Xenon: Urami has hit the nail on the head - this is not over.  LEARN to READ. I did not say that SHERRY was back in ESF. This player - and with your knowledge - is hiding in the DACIA clan.  All you have to do is come clean about this. You are in contact with this person via MSN.  Do the right thing and stop coming over as Mr Insulted.  Your reaction to this betrays the truth.  Youve been given more chances on the VOID than you deserve - now come up with the truth or SHUT UP...! ! !

Well, this is getting out of hand ...

I agree with Zeb, the community has degenerated into a boat load of advantage whores, whether it be cheating, macros or other things meant to increase their abilities in PVP and in making money.

I will admit I did use that money run a couple of times, my only interest was trying out battleship and saving the money for when I have completed my battleship (just incase strail was gracious enough to allow it in).

That was my only interest, even though it appears an excuse, I'm sorry but human beings are not flawless, we're greedy, its part of human nature.

Personally I'm quite happy to get rid of most of my credits, I currently have something in the region of 600 mill and diminishing slowly.

If requested to I will give half of it to an admin, I just didn't like the idea of needing to save up and slog hard trading when there aren't a whole lot of viable trade routes that have been discovered to my knowledge, just to buy a ship of my own working and design.

Other than that I have no interest in credits, the fun has always been in the fight for me and will continue to be.

@Darkness - I was always Mr Nice Guy until people started to take advantage of it  - it had nothing to do with the change from AoF to -=REAVERS=-, It had everything to do with the fact that I had been used and lied to frequently by several players.  I am and always will be in any other guise Mr Nice Guy - Im not out to alienate everyone - all I want you to understand is that VOID and ADMIN are not here to be your best buddy but to try and keep the cheaters and those that seek to spoil things here off the server.  And I will say it again - that goes for EVERYONE - not just certain individuals that feel they are being picked on.  Most I have no problem with, they play in the spirit of the game and by the rules set down by STRAIL. There are others, who are in a minority, who feel obliged to push the limits and generaly mess with the game, there by ruining the quality and enjoyment of the majority who play here.  

To the rest:  Understand that the VOID Guardians were given authority by the vote of other VOID Guardians and the observations of the ADMINS - it was not an election and the players did not get to VOTE as to who was VOID Guardian or not.  We are the eyes and ears of the ADMINS when they are not around and you are required to abide by whatever decisions we make.  If you have a problem with any of those decisions then address them directly and by PM to one of the ADMIN team and let them decide.  I will always defer to ADMINS.
