What i say is chuck these arrogant ppl who have been here for a year and that dont even have respect for the Void and Admins decisions as they cant even behave in a proper manner, someone said respect went a year ago.... Someone made a post about elite Voidian status or what not and made the few points he reckon was what it should be and u really think he actually follows what he written?? ffs give me a break all i can say is what a n00b and ffs grow up or just get lost cuz quite frankly we all gettin pissed off with the a$$ licking and with all these none do gooders who think they are doin good for the server! Void been up for a fair few years and to keep it up for many years to come u have to have a firm hand dont let these arrogant twits justify ure role as the server police get rid of em, and another thing they still here but some good friends of mine get banned for just PLAYIN and not postin total and utter BS such as this thread and many others ive seen this past 8 months or maybe more. i think maybe i might go aswell with em cuz this is total crap sorry to say A-Team but ure just lettin this server get run to the ground by F-ing Xenon and is bum chums who think they gods gift !!!!!!

I know I don't have the authority for this, but:

The topic has run it's course now, and is starting to disintergrate into flaming, name calling and people getting stressed out.

This thread is going to end up with people leaving the server, if it isn't put to and end quickly.

There are people trying to kill the Void off, and here they are succeeding. Don't bite the bait, be the better people by just leaving this, otherwise bad things are going to start to happen

I cant see wy alot of "New guys" post about the way the Void was. And i mean new people not the ones that havnt been here for 2+ years.

Ive been a member here before the restart of the forums, that was somewhere in 2005.
Ive been on the Void before that, but not that active. Ive had alot of diffrent chars over the years and kinda got stuck on Inf1n1ty. Because i like the name and it makes sence,because i had Infinite names <):)  

Now ive said that...
The Void has his ups and down, and this is a down point, rock bottum you might say.
Not because of some minor gliches, but because of those "Know it all"
Listen to this and listen good; We are lucky to have such a great [VOID] and [ADMIN] team, because without them it would have been chaos and a complete disaster. The Void would have been stranded and broken along time ago if we didnt had those teams.
We "Vetran members" have said goodbye to alot of good, honest and respectfull players, VOIDians and ADMINS alike.

Our strenght and survivle has always been because we where all buddies. In good times and in bad times.
We did our part in roleplay and had stuck together even when we where roleplay enemies.
Not so long ago there was this kid that said some painfull things to Asmo <--- i think it was you. It realy was awfull, but everyone stuck by him and took him 'under his wings'.
That is an perfect accample of what WE are as a communitie represent.
All this talk about "Cheaters and abuse of power" is useless unless we discuse it in an normal maner and that means with respect and understanding and under supervision of and ADMIN incase it leads to nowere or it will unrattle in a big flame fight.

I might not be and ADMIN or a VOID, but i see that this communitie needs to relie on its caretakers if we wish to survive.
Now there are more than inough members here that know what im talking about and wish to help this communitie get back to an respectfull existence.
And those who think other wise should not be here. If they dont like that WE respect eachother than what on earth do you think you can get if you stay here.
Just go and take your nonsense somewhere where they appriciat it, but dont bring this communitie down by doing it here.

Yes i still remember the post that was made and the comments about Asmo, and you guys all stuck by us and defended Asmo and made sure that I was OK. And I had PMs off all the DTA clan through the course of the day showing us support. cos they were and still are very close friends of ours.
Its a shame that this is happening here now, as I always thought that no matter how society breaks down in RL , our community here would always be upstanding.
When Asmo nearly died last year you guys were there for me again and I will always appreciate that and to see everyone fighting over A GAME is just sheer stupidity. You should all just stand back a moment and take a long look at yourselves in a mirror and see that you are destroying yourselves in a virtual world and take more time to be a better person in the real one.
The ones who dont like it here will move on and the same old guys who have been here the longest who know everyone else will remain or return, so arguing is so pointless.
I dont think I have ever bad mouthed anyone here and I dont think I ever will, but let this now die a death as it is not helping anyone.

Ok - just to explain why this has not been locked. Part of a community is the ability to have, on occasions an open debate - no one gets banned (providing its kept reasonably clean and with a minimum of offence) for an opinion.  This shows that a community is in actual fact alive and well.  There may be a difference of opinion as to whether this is a "healthy" debate or not.  The good part is that whilst this whole thread bears my nickname I am not about to issue slander and libel law suits against those that have posted here - Why? Because I get to have my say also!

@Wife - I remember the incident.  It was painful and vicious.  I would say that  much of what is posted here is "steam".  Its healthier to have this out in the open than for it to fester.
You only have to read some of the posts to see the bile that has been festering here for some time and caused by some very specific characters.  It also allows me to vent my frustration at those who should know better but continue to behave badly. This is a catharsis - its like lancing a boil (if you will excuse the analogy). As has been pointed out by certain contributors to this thread - this is just a game. Sure, but is it life immitating art or art immitating life? I dunno. You can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but never all of the people all of the time.  

@DeDa - Grow up and go back to school. You are never too old to learn - even if you are only six.  Believe me given all the whinging you did over the 4S bans  - the feeling is mutual - I dont like you either.  I have some passing respect for LIMAN. He is standing up for his clan.  Like I said before you are being an IDIOT for one VERY clear reason.  Hanging on to a grudge in regard to bans that passed months ago.  Go play chess for a bit - it might broaden your horizons and let you interact with reality for a while.  Then you might come back to the VOID with a better perspective and attitude.

@Xenon - when you have something to say that actually makes sense and doesnt do the "flip flop" trying to alter the perspective so that it reflects well on you with your two faced brown nosing and your ability to alter positions quicker than a lady thats paid to do that, people that matter might actually listen! When you have actually read and understood what is being said to you instead of you picking up on small out of context statements and then blowing a fuse, then some here might actually take the time to listen to what you have to say.   Now get back into your box and stay there, or go off and start your own mod with your 4S chums as ADMINS. Maybe SHERRY/KOSA can go play and cheat all he wants there. You could call it "FLCHEATSERVER - all cheaters welcome but only if they brown nose the ADMINS..!" There is nothing "gentlemanly" about being two faced.

@ LIMAN - NERVOUS?? ROFL - what the heck does that mean? Is that the same as having "an extasy"....  Psychotic maybe or even Paraniod Delusions of Grandeur I would give you  :P

@ BL Zeus:  The VOID is far from dead mate..! There are plenty here who keep threatening to leave but they never do. Even when they do they tend to come back in one guise or another.  Some were asked to leave and even forced to leave and whilst they were in disagreement - some of them quite openly hostile over what happened, they came back.  They did their "time".  There are some here who dont have the cahones to even do that. They try to slip back in under the radar with the support of team mates and altered IP addresses.  All that does is give the ADMINS a headache having to go through another series of bans.  Regardless of my position and alleged behaviour, people like to play here and I am all for it - providing they play in the spirit of the game and dont get all bent out of shape cos they got caught misbehaving and arguing with VOIDs decisions.  I know of some that got banned - complained, but STILL abided by the decision.  Some bans are for less than the maximum Seven days.  Permanent bans are for cheating and those that constantly abuse the good nature of the VOID Guardians and the ADMINS.  Fear not! This place wont vanish thanks to the variety and diversity of the players here.  Take this as nothing more than a bout of indigestion - some people cant take their medicine and end up with sore stomachs and it makes them grumpy.  Best they tell us when we have a chance cos of the downed server than it just fester away and get worse - thats when people leave.  Many before have left - Has the server died? Nope - not yet it hasn't.

@Blazin' : I hear you LOUD and CLEAR mate! I will refer you to the top of this thread.  There's stuff that has needed to be dragged into the open and now is as good a time as any to get it done - I didnt start this thread and this is not me trying to make out how brilliant a VOID Guardian I am.  I am, however, defending my position and my "mission statement" if you will.  I cant find it but I did enter a post sometime ago that gave the reasons for the "no more Mr Nice Guy " approach to policing the VOID server.  I could cuss like a trooper at some of these brainless morons that cant get past the fact that even if it is just a game maybe some of us like to play fair?  I dunno but maybe Im just trying to instil a sense of honour when it comes to taking your punishment - whether percieved as just or unjust, all this whinging by intellectual infants is like the sound of someone dragging their nails down a chalkboard! Thanks for your fury and your words of wisdom (even if FFS and The Lord's Name  is over used lol)

@ The Rest:  Ive been playing chess with my nine year old and she shows a far more advanced grasp of respect and honour than the sad minority of single cell organisms that come on here and argue with those in authority.  I dont expect to get it right all the time. I dont expect to be everyones "mate".  What I DO expect is that when someone in Authority makes a decision, you abide by it, right or wrong.

If you feel agreived then talk to the VOID Guardian POLITELY and not all "in your face".  If you dont get a satisfactory response or you feel that you cant talk to that particular VOID Guardian (ie ME) then address the problem with the ADMINS.  If they decide to uphold the VOID Guardians decision then do the right thing, abide by the decision and you will find that you are respected for it - not that any of you need our respect in Real Life - just in the context of the game, thats all.  Going public with a post and a slagfest of abuse will not earn you any reprieve. Also trying to get all cosy and tree huggy with VOID or ADMIN wont win you any points either.  I can and will be equally remoseless regardless as to who you are if a breach of  rules has been perpetrated.

Remember a ban is, initialy, only temporary unless you have cheated or caused repeated offense and brought the quality of the gaming experience into disrepute. Take your medicine and all will be well.  Abide by these and you will not go wrong.  Fail to do so and you will suffer the consequences. End Of Argument. I make no apology for comming across as a little "abrasive"  - thats because being "nice" to certain people resulted in  them laughing behind my back at how they can fool me or that I am an easy touch.

Keep it going chaps - get it off your chests while you can.
