I am syndicate. I have only ever been in one clan on the void- that is syn. Therefore, I have always been enemies with esf.

I have simply observed events and deem them unfair, in my personal opinion. It seems beyond a game. I belong to a community for social and fun. Many posts and arguments are immature flames. This isn't. If someone cheats, I do not like to see a respectable player punished. Fair enough, if he helped someone cheat but he didn't. He kicked them out and turned a blind eye to their activities beyond that.

You cannot expect players to regard zebulon's decision with great respect as it seems a little bit under the skin and shady. In many courts, his evidence would not work as he obtained it via illegal means. I don't want to get into a debate here. It just seems all a bit shady and personal... a real mess. Kangaroo court if you have heard the expression.

Sorry to be contreversial and make a fuss against the server guard. I just fail to see how pushing xenon away from the community is going to help this server.

Thanks for your opinion.  Everyone is entitled to one. If this server is a joke then dont play here.  Xenon chose to publish the PM - I thought he might.  If you dont like it here go somewhere else - otherwise - SCREAM ON!

C'mon kids, this isnt real life its a game, treat it as such, instead of getting PMT over a few bannings when clearly they were warned, and clearly didn't stop or heed what they had been told to do or not to do, and clearly has resulted in action.

Made your own beds ESF lay in them and take responsibility for your actions and the actions of your clan mates, as all clans should do.

Nobody is a saint, but no-one has the right to complain when they themselves have walked over the line more than once, its kinda hipocritical.

None of us are safe in our positions and standing here, it can be taken away with a click of someones mouse, act like adults and not kids and you should be fine!

A pro-active server guard is what this server has needed for a while, otherwise whats the point of them? to sit in sparta in their uber armours doing nothing?

I simply expressed my opinion, in an adult manner, as most of us are adults here. It is interesting that I would be called childish for that, but i will not choose to retaliate. As you said, its what you thought, but look through history and apply the above logic .

Zebulon, fair enough. 'this server is a joke' was an inapropriate and igniting comment, and for that I am sorry. That was childish. As you said, It is my choice where I play. I play here because its the best server out there and it is where my friends are... but I will allways raise my voice when I see something happen i don't agree with. It may be ignored and ridiculed, in this case possibly both. I am not pushing for action, a decision has been made, by a dedicated staff member and I do not expect my manipulated mind to persuade you otherwise .

As I said, my two cents on the situation. Not eastenders (for you brits).

ESF is gone. One player, rather than take his 20 day ban like a man and leader, took his 'toys' and left like a child, stomping on as much as he could break as he went. This was no suprise to anyone, we all saw it coming. Mark this well, it was not just about what he knew or didn't know about Sherry as it was his constant disrespect for server staff. I myself have overheard his tirades and shameful displays, and I wasn't even involved. Lost all respect for him as a clan leader, and it was only because he was a clan leader that he got away with as much as he did. He claimed he never cheated, yet he did get autobanned once and Cobra testified that he was (in his opinion) cheating with his speed & lag selectively turning it on & off AT WILL when it suited him. Then the anti-cheat caught him. Sorry, but I believe Cobra. Rarely does a clan leader testify to witnessing cheating AND the anti-cheat s/w agrees with him. Yet Xenon was unbanned. (would joe blow player have been?) Then Cobra left Void. Was it due to this? Partly, I'm sure. Remember that? It's been deleted but I remember the incident well. Cobra didn't make a big stink about it, he left quietly. No burnt bridges. So if I never see anything again about ESF it's fine with me. I'm sure there were good and honest players in there but if they chose to follow him off Void then I say good riddance to bad rubbish.

All very valid points and thankyou Shadow for taking the time to rationalise in a thoughtful and adult manner.  If more people had reacted in that way much of what happened need not have done.  I wont lock this but I feel that we are coming to an end with this "topic" - all that will happen is that we will go round and round in circles.  I am prepared to wind it down now - no point in picking over sore wounds.  Glad that you are not "leaving" as some of the others have stated - even some that were not involved in the incident.  Its important that people get it off their chest (did you get to read the whole KOSA thread on yours truely?) and then move on. I know I intend to.
