Clan clean up and Discussion

This is not that tricky.  There has to be some kind of strict limitation on this.  Seeing that there is a time limit on characters then there should also be a time limit on the life of inactive clans.  

To be a clan you have to have more than Five Active Members and have been active for an excess of 100hrs.  I think maybe the same should apply in reverse - Less than five members for more than a set time - clan area gets deleted.  It saves space and you can always try again with the same level - this could lead to some extra work on occasions - we have seen clans dip in membership and recover - but, as I have discovered, that requires the ACTIVE participation of members and leadership.

So - sorry to say HH - you havent flown in SWAT colours for a while and there has (apparently) been no sign of members - so both clan base and area should be deleted.  If you wish to restart the clan then you apply the initial rules - five or more members and more than 100 hrs tagged activity.   The same would apply to -=REAVERS=- or any other clan in a similar situation.  That way you can ensure that the clans listed are at least minimally active and not completely inactive.   No reason why you cant fly a single character with your clan tag - you just wont have a forum area or a base until you can manage to rebuild and maintain your clan activity - there are too many who make and clan and then do nothing with it, then start up or join another clan leading to a spread of Inactive Forums and "dead" clan bases.   Need a base?  Pick a planet - at the moment there are no bases that are rep orientated so anyone can use any base.  

I will leave it to the powers that be to decide what time frame for Clan Forum Life and Base Life - but a time frame is required or this place will become awash with failed projects and unused forum space.  Just my thoughts.

Ello lads...heh im leader of =)DC(= i think just me left no 1 playing anymore,but i was offline because i have job and new girl so i dont have so much time to play...i play 10-15 mins every day i used to play 4-5 hours...heh now im gonna be offline for 10 day`s because im going on vacations...
Dont delete =)DC(=,and in new update plis add a base somewhere in Sparta if i can request there!
School is comming in 1 month so im gonna be able to play again every night`s

maverick first ever seen the global server list of top clans and killers. it is about the top clans with money and top clans with kills (npc) we were always one of the top clans in the world. most of your old clans are on that list from all the server. i have seen so many rp clan come and go i cant even begin to count them. but it is amazing how old and how long the clan that play the hole game stay around, not just pvp but npc killing money making, exployering. when you invest the time to creat a top char and clan then players stay they dont leave they dont change their clans and their char more times than i change my socks in a week. being one of the top clan in the world use to mean something. i have had so many new player come here and say they seen the kba or even my char on the global list. it is good advertising for the server and your clan.

m8 i know you are new but trust me clan pride is not what it use to be. use to be everyone was in a clan. you just did not play with out being in one it gave you power and saftey. we had real clan wars, there was real deplomacy between the clans and player keep to it. none of this well he is my freind so i group my navy with a bl or a syndicate or even a rogue. you did not see freelancer pirates that much they were part of one of the 3 pirate clans. not to be ,meant you were going to get owned all night by the navy. player did not multi-clan ever to do so would get you shamed on the forums by everyone and no one would let you in their clan, because you could not be trusted.

clan pride, i was in the kba for 3 years, i have my reasons why i finnaly left. but for 3 years i was kba there are many players in that clan and in the bbb who have been here for over 4 years. they will never leave. why because they are kba or bbb or saints or a shadow (for the old guys in that clan). still a few old sydicate left to. know why they dont leave because of pride. i set and watch some of you all go thru 3 or 4 or more clan is a 6 month time. i see it all the time from alot of the active players today. so please dont tell me there is great clan pride.  i can start naming all the clan i have seen started by the same 6 players and how everyone moves around all the time that is not pride that is always trying to find greener grass so you are part of the gruop, that is looking out for number 1.

Well, I think money will make the difference. It's not a matter of time, people can abbandon chars docked until next server restart.

If I'm not wrong, in the beggining bases were suposed to be buyable. That's a good point to start. Also a minimum number of active members with at least one diplomat or leader to contact with.

Let's say:  5 players spare 100M each and buy a small base (like actual clan bases). Money can be given to VOID or EVENT guys and later used for events.
Once the clan graphics and all web stuff is done they should be official, like now.

Now, how to delete the clan?

I think the best option is paying a monthly amount. You don't pay,....you're out. ....And not "-I'll pay you triple and don't disturb me in three months"!

We also need a new and clearer clan list.

Out of topic: We're still waiting for our ship skin and base history.

hmm I don't want to see Knights clan forum deleted , as half of you know this clan is one of the oldest here too, also BBB and KBA aren't much more active than the Knights.

I would have to agree with Shonen. It might come across as a little tough and there will be people who will not like this, but I agree we will have to maintain some strict rules in order to get it and to keep it strict and organized.

I know we r not so much active but ... we still have 5 members active in last month (Me, RedS, Ram, Bomber, HH - he use more clans but ... Knights tag has too  :D )
I play almost every day  :)
We have our own website and forum! (not too much updated but ... 3 ppl read it almost everyday)
So why u want delete Knights?

Its not easy to recruit some1. Most new guys want to be X or in Evil clan. And most of them play just few days, maybe weeks and they left. So how we can recruit some1? Pay them all equip as AoF? wtf

We should delete some clans from VOID, thats true. But Knights r not inactive!!  [-X
