Relax Mikey, it's Sunday, so don't expect much news. Don't be surprised if the peeps who control the hardware also have a day off today. Strail said he will be in the air when there is something to report. Try playing the singleplayer mod with the original story line for a change. It's cool. Nice to dig up old memories so to speak.  :D If you have any trouble getting it to run, I can help you out. PM me in that case.

Use of speed modding on VOID will result in a BAN - be rest assured of it. Please be clearer about this as it is disturbing that you would even post such a thing here knowing full well how such things are sorted out here.   FLAC is pretty good at catching the obvious miscreants - however there are some things that are not so obviously "caught" by FLAC and that takes an experienced "Mark 1 Eyeball" - Speed modding, eh?  Check the sig - You will be watched.  This kind of thing comes home to roost sooner rather than later - its not a case of IF you will be caught as WHEN you will be caught......!

I played Freelancer single player for a bit and got a little way through it before I found the Void. When I first played it I was like "WOW, what kind of invincible enemy killed Freeport 7?!?!?!"

Now that I've gone back to it, I watched it again, and went, "Oh, its the Nomads."

they have like a millisecond to hit you,they'd have to have cruise disruptors at least as twice as fast as the max speed, because you suddenly jump, most ships you don't have the wait time that normal speeds have when you goto cruise speed...it's ridiculous(anyone who's played it knows)...and unless they found a way to override FLMM, most if not all the standard mods that come with it won't activate with a client like VOID or DISCOVERY, so it's 99.9% certain he played it without activating VOID....while you can say go ahead if it gives you a warning that FL may crash, 9 times out of 10, it does crash the instant you try to use one of the other mods special features.

Exactly Mate, I was only answering someone's inquiry. Not to have Zeb flame all over me, that I or anyone who respects the VOID would even try it.
I think I clearly said that I liked it and tried it BEFORE the mods overload. And said absolutely nothing about the VOID. Thanks for the kind comments Sir Zeb. I don't disrespect the rules or Strail. And I know the reasons for I inquire thus giving me a proper answer to tell others that may ask.

Better to inform than to threaten. We know you love your ban stick, would not especially enjoy giving you reasons to use it.

P.S. I know everyone is equally concernced and anxious about the VOID's condition, and when the Data Center is able to diagnose the faults, Strail will let us know.. Its more important to him I think than anyone.. And he knows we are all with him..

i gaurantee one thing you never have to suspect me of cheating. heck i can hardly down load the updates and reload game with out help from my son.  :D  :D  if i ever tried to change something i would screw up the game and mod so bad i would never be able to get back on.lollolol  :P  then what would i do with all my time off work?
