Hi guys iv just joined the server and created a char but i have a problem...
Im fine of manhatten but when i launch after 10 secs i get this

How good is your computer / internet connection? Make sure you have absolutely everything (apart from firewall and other security programs) closed apart from Freelancer.

Don't worry , Be Happy! Problem is not on server.
As myghtbeam says, watch yr pc, but the antivir and firewall on pc! Don't smash it cause it 's weak!
In concordance with yr pc performances, watch it how many resources r consumed by antivir ,firewall ,startup prg. etc...
if too more RAM memory will be consumed, (in percent of yr RAM), server consider y cause LAG
No mention,NO winamp or Messenger in game time!
if y have any prb, many ppl will help Y . c ya!
I forget this: Lag could be caused on conections between Y and Void. Sometimes ,simply  Reconnect could fix the problem!

He means if you managed to buy yourself a new engine for your ship (and also mounted it before launching into space)
To your problem: Make sure you're logged in as an Admin and it would be also wise to turn your Norton antivirus off

Burn i dont have norton i have AVG and would mounting an engine help or not?

No, mounting an engine is really not advised.
If things don't work out i'd switch to WIn XP  :)

Btw my internet is sposed to give 6mbit connection but i think my router dosnt give it all either.

Unmounting your engine and/or mounting another one, that doesn't belong on your ship by default, will cause server instability. So please don't.

I think you have the wrong version of the mod m8. Make sure you got the one called 2115ClientAUG2008v4, not v3! When using the wrong version of the mod, you will experience a 'CTD' (Crash To Desktop). Deactivate the mod you are using now, download and activate the one I described and I think you will be fine m8.
