My Story, a trip through my darkest memories-Roleplay

Since the early years of my life i was obsessed with space.
Stargate Navy offered me a way.
A dream coming true although soon would became a nightmare.
War always raged against pirates, bloodthirsty rogues and ruthless alien invasions.
Brave pilots dying for some lost honor,for some lost hope.
But we took an oath to defend Liberty and we were gonna to
honor it,no matter the cost.
I quickly proved myself to be a promising pilot,
and the leader named Carter took me along for my first mission.
A scouting trip through nomad space, with strict orders not to engage any hostile ships.

And then they came, hunderds of them, attacking a small squad of
new pilots, brave but unskilled, ready to die for their beliefs,
and so they did. Carter, one of the best , managed to escape, and what i want to recall as a miracle, she also managed to save me.
After few days we finally hoped we lost them, but unfortunately
our destiny was different.
We were ambushed, trapped and doomed.That moment i accepted i am
going to die, that moment i stopped hoping, but
Carter was not ,she danced among them, evading every single shot
wanting to live to survive more than ever,
and then when all seemed lost, the darkness came.

Its been so many years since then...
...i fought countless battles, most of them forgotten...
Things have changed now,it was long ago when being alive mattered..when life mattered ...
It was my true dead and my true beginning...
Me and Carter facing the end of the line and then...
a deep sound echoed through our coms.
We all recalled the scary stories who few brave dared to share...
Then it came again,the sound of them.....getting louder,
it was imposibble..i though i was in a nightmare
Nomads the fearlesss enemy started to retreat ,
I was just couldnt stop listening that sound...
Carter was not distracted, i still remember her last words
''Run run thats an order run''The most simple order but i couldnt follow it, because strangely i didnt want to.
It was then when some massive energy readings showed on the screen and boom every single system went offline..
They uncloaked right in front of me,
and with their coming their voice ripped through space,
''We are the SHADOWS, we demand your soul''

It seems like seconds ago when i heard these words...the flight log keeps telling me its a bit more...
Only few are selected to become well me...us...filled with desire to devour every single living being ...
We never asked why...the oldest memories of us were already shared.
In a distant lost planet...populated with beings corrupted by their immense power capable destroying even their own home...
At their darkest moment of their history they destroyed their galaxy,filled with hate for the unspeakable crime they have commited, decided the only salvation left for them was to prevent
this atrocity from happening again.They concluded they only way to achieve, was to destroy every living organism, weak enough to do the same mistakes as them,
It was all in order to save life from reliving their horrible fate, witnessing their own home's destruction.

Thats what they are...what i am...destined to rest in peace only when the last power hungry living being...dies with us...

They are...we are...I am... SHADOWS and they are...we are...I AM...HUNGRY.
Doomed to seek total serenity through total destruction....

Thats my story...thats a shadow...we will always be here..and we always will look for our next target.

better now, god i wish i was born in england so i would stop making
