Piracy In Alexandria

One of the items being considered in the new mod is piracy in Alexandria. Under current rules, this is not allowed.

From now until the release of the new mod, this rule will be lifted. Piracy is now legal in Alexandria.

Taxing, or killing, players under level 20 is not legal in any system under current rules and will not be tolerated.

Itâ€™s you as players that can make this work or not work.

this is great news, time to dust off my old pirate ship i think and get taxin some people.......

Very good move. Never quite agreed with the rule, so iÂ´m glad itÂ´s gone.

However pirates, donÂ´t think this will make your life any easier. If anything it will make it easier for us to hunt you down.

And traders, remember to call for help when being taxed. There are always at least a few Navy players online who will help you free of charge, but thereÂ´s also the option of hiring Mercs or Assassins, if you want a more ruthless response....There are several options to resist the pirates (whining is NOT one of them

PS: not an order(of course), but lets try to keep the molestation of freighters at rank 30, thx.(freighters only of course, theyre no sport anyways, I just like the way they "pop")

so some one tell me what is going to be different now. they dont pay tax in anyother system why pay in alex. and as far as killing them for not paying well traders are being killed all the time in alex now.

so the only thing that has changed is pirates will say tax or die and then traders will run or die.

i will tell you what has changed the low level char 20- 40 trying to get enough money to buy a good ship will now fall pray to pirates killing them and not letting them trade. so the money they could have made wil be lost and so will some of the new people.

my 2 cents.

eagleone thats one scenario that might happen
and if it does i am sure admins will bring the rule back.
From the other side though
there is the hope that traders
actually see that pirates are a threat
and actually hire escorts
or pay tax.(much fun for all sides here).

So here is the possibility of living up the roleplay(and fun) of clans.
Be a bit optimistic
this might turns good

and if not i am sure AT will take care of it quick
