What premises did led you to conclude that "I have not been here long", and that I've got some "personal grievances" to lay in front of you? If you want a proper discussion please present your arguments in a correct way, my friend.

The joined 7th of april thing under your avatar is what leads me to the conclusion that you are new here. That is unless you joined before that date and for whatever reason wish to remain illusive as to your real identity.
As to the personal grievance thing. Well you have done nothing to resolve the matter in the proper manner. Do you realy think that slagging Neph off in a public forum is the right course of action? Your posts contain nothing of any real substance. Just drama drama drama.

ive been threatened with banns twice now for killing people in what they call a "shooting server"

regardless of tags people can shhot other people....just like a admin said "we cant force people to rp "  but it sure seems thats what they are doing......or trying to do!!

Ok - I dont think Neph would ban you for simply shooting someone. There is more to this I am certain.  I suspect that there is an element of "overkill" here.  You are all quite correct - its a shooter server - but there are also rules - its not JUST a free for all as and when you like.  If Neph feels that the rule or the spirit of the game is being contravened then a seven day ban is in effect.

Take it like a man and not like a whining child. Take your medicine...... You are beggining to sound a lot like someone that used to play here once and he crossed swords with me more than once.  Do yourself a favour and take your medicine - whether you feel like writing a short novel to cover for your obviously dented ego, I will leave you with some advice.  If you are unhappy please take your case to Neph.  If you are not happy with Neph's explanation please take it to one of the ADMIN team. Given how busy they are you will probably have passed the duration of your ban.  You keep this up and the ban will remain in place.  This is NOT a democracy.  It is a benevolent dictatorship.  Do what the nice VOID asked and you will be ok. Start a public flame and a rant - things wont go so well for you.......!

I've opened this to add something which seems to be missed and thought I would drop it in as this seems to be a popular thread at the moment.

"It has to be fun for everyone, not just you" - You dont need to be breaking the rules if your conduct is a selfish method of play. If someone feels its great to force people off the server or by trying to be smart and staying "within the rules", your likely to get banned. I reserve the right to ensure that in the main people have a good and positve experience here.

As regards the server, we try to cater for all types of play, so please dont pigeon hole the server. Other servers call The Void a pvp server, so I'm not sure that we could agree a definitive statement on tagging the server this way or that.

And finally, for those who want to continually aggravate the server staff, you will be banned. We dont have the time or the inclination for people to goad/bait or argue with server staff all the time.
