Re: American election
I dont care who gets voted in, they are all as bad as each other. I just wish that whoever gets the big seat has the balls to stand up for whats best for his own country and forget about sticking his nose in another countries buisines.
America, as the same with England, is happy to spend billions on fighting wars while people in their own countries are struggling to get by.
Youve got people loosing their homes and their jobs, old folks having to choose between food or heating, young families living on the poverty line and still those in charge choose to ignore it in order to fight over oil reserves in the name of terrorism.
It makes me angry when all that money is being thrown at a war effort when it is needed at home.
Whoever gets voted in will do what they believe is right, i just wish i could have ten minutes with them...one on one.

Re: American election
In this election...just like the last one, and the one before that...basically, Americans are going to have to pick the lesser of the two evils. I'm not jumping for joy over either candidate.
Sure, the Democrats have traditionally spent tons of money. That's the stereotype their opponents love to throw at them. But look at the Bush administration over the past few years. They've proved that the so-called "conservatives" are capable of spending just as much. I fail to see how this can be a deciding factor in the election.
But I tend to lean towards the Obama/Biden ticket...mostly because I disagree with the McCain philosophy regarding how to handle the "War on Terrorism" and I'm scared as hell about what would happen if something happened to him and Sarah Palin became President. She's a mite conservative for my taste.
So if right now, somebody held a gun to my head and forced me to choose between the two, I'd probably pick Obama. But still...McCain has grown on me a bit.
I don't know. I just don't know.

Not my election either but my wife will be voting. I would go with Mcain - Im a big George W fan - I think the guy gets a lot of undeserved bad press but thats just me. Would have hated Bill Clinton to have been in charge when 9/11 happened - that would have been the end of the US in world politics - again - just me of course...! One good point is at least "BIllary" isnt in the running - and want to know why Obama didnt pick her for VP? Obama would have been dead within three months of taking office. She wants to be president more than its healthy! Whilst Mcain is older his age is should not be an issue - just like Obama's enthenicity should not be an issue either - but sadly there are some that cant see past those two areas. Whats funny is this whole "four years of the same.." Nonsense! Lets see what changes if Obama gets in - start counting what small change you have left cos its all gonna go in taxes. Sorry but the terrorists are gonna love it - You cant negotiate with people whos sole motive is the ERADICATION of the western way of life from the planet and Obama is very short sighted if he goes to negotiate with al Qui'da, Hezbollah or Hamas.
Since 9/11 the whole worlds political and economic face has changed. It was a moment of change that had an effect similar to the dropping of the first atomic bomb, the outbreak of World War 1, the Russian Revolution and the end of World War 2 in Europe. Why? Well as soon as George W Bush announced his war on terrorism and actualy named those on the list there was a flurry of political negotiation from as diverse places as Northern Ireland and Libya because none of them wanted to be on the list. "Walk softly and carry a big stick" - Theodore Roosevelt

Sometimes you have to use the big stick...
Historicaly you cant get away from the fact that whoever is elected it will be a major change on the face of US politics - you will either have the first Black President of the US or the First Female Vice President (and given Mcain's age - possibly the first Female President of the US) and you know thats just gonna stick in Hilary's throat...hehe.

Snake Oil Salesman - Beware....![/quote]
Iain i have a question for you.Are you jewish?

Well Ireland's largest bookmaker has already declared Senator Barack Obama as victorious and paid out more than $1,360,000 to Obama backers. (and this happened weeks ago)

Well I'm sorry but I for one am not. Not in the least. And I really don't see the point of turning this semi-subject into a discussion which we all know could only turn out into a flame fest. Certainly not on someone else's thread which is not meant for that purpose.
Yes I can see why his post is offensive. However I don't see the point in making this a public embarrassment. I would have simply deleted the post in question. That would have gotten rid of it too wouldn't it? At least it would have kept the thread clean. Do that for a while, and the motivation to post such posts will go away sooner or later me thinks.
Don't we always tell one another to sort personal issues like these through pm?
Sorry Zeb bud, being honest here m8. But you know that. Fee free to delete this post along with the others. ;)

Re: American election
It's a simple question not intended to spark a flame ,cause a depate about racism, hate, antisemitism etc etc
A simple yes or no will do it.You may of course choose not to answer.
Here are words that have angered me very much and brought me to the conclusion that you might have approached a racist issue "join Burn in whatever dark and smelly place he is at this moment". (some other words were also used by you but i won't repost those )
I took it as "join him in whatever shithole he's living".I was wrong as you have proven me.You were actually refering to my anal orifice.
I have indeed started this "throw your accusations" war with my flamatory post against the Reavers clan but i have already stated my points of view regarding this clan and why i see things different.Along the way came other Void members defending your clans cause against whom i have also been very unmannerd (especially Maverick) but that's another story.
You're waiting for an appology well so am i...So what's it gonna be Zeb?

I'm a christian catholic. How would you have reacted had I asked you the same question?
Ah yes, the appology...- and I am still waiting for my appology.

I don't distinguish people regarding their religion.I don't tend to hate or like one more or less according to his religionPlease explain to all here the reasoning behind your question as I am sure we would all be interested to hear where you stand regarding people who are of Jewish and Hebrew origins
Hebrew,Muslim,Christian, you name it
Now why don't you please explain to me the meaning of this picture posted by you:
What diffrence does it makes that his father was a Kenyan Muslim and his mother a Hawaiian Athiest? It makes no difference to me ,does it make one to you?
This is the picture wich i'm talking aout: http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q11/ ... parody.jpg

Sorry to tell you this but McCain has never ran before. In addition of why you would vote for a certain candidate post your age, this way we can look and know you are part of that whole MTV generation.
As a member of US military I am voting for McCain. As a POW McCain elected to stay with his Soldiers instead of being released before them, that says a lot in my book. The first thing Obama would do is to change the name of the United States to the United Socialist States of America. He states he has family values, tell me then how he did not know his aunt was in the US Illegally. If he is such a family man he would know. I am not going to back a person that gets his support from known PLO money men and the like!

Re: American election
Im australian. I barely follow my own countries politics.
BUT. There are a few reasons why id go for obama. McCain's basic view is that we should all use up every natural resource and worry about what to do later. If i was near him right now i would deck him. Sara Palin..is just a psycho. I dont like her.
The point most people are making is that McCain has "Experience". 35 years or something like that right?
EXACTLY! His brain, just like bush, is too tied up in old standards. In short, he's a .. well the word i usually use for his type i cant say here because i will get banned.
Either way, i know im not american, but american is the most powerful country in the world. SO, in my personal opinion i want america to have a fresh face. someone who doesnt have stupid delusions about economy and such. Someone who doesnt have Sara Palin - Crazy Christian as their sidekick.
Obama Is new. Him Being "unexperienced" has NOTHING to do with his opinions and goals. If you guys get mccain, the world will Epic Fail itself into a tiny ball and kill itself. Its that simple. He will Uber Smash every resource available (until he dies) and leave the young ones to clean it up. Much like half the presidents out there. Make a mess, die, let children clean. That simple yeh? And McCain is old anyway, hes gonna die real soon, so why bother electing him? Obama is young, fresh, untainted, and black. Id like to make the point again he hasnt been in politics as long as McCain, and thats a good thing.
Now...To be honest, right now I respect everyone elses opinions but i dont really care if i have somehow offended you. Ive seen america do some real stupid things in my life, and i dont want my kids to have to live with past generations' mistakes. This could end up being a very long post if i express my deepest opinions about politics. so i wont.
And For those of you who are infact american, believe it or not i dont hate you. 90% of the problem is the government and not the people. I have nothing against you guys, i just have a problem with people who think the world is invincible and has never ending resources. Get a grip. I dont know if any of you here think like that...but yeh.
There you go thats my opinion. Like it or hate it, if you wanna flame me, dont bother, I dont care. If you wanna give me constructive critisism then go ahead i will acctually read that.
ANYWAY ok. im seriously going now. cya.

Re: American election
You can choose whichever side you want to, but the outcome or the "elections" is already known. Don't you see this is nothing but a show? Merely a staged event in which two parties dance one with the other while people with real power are the ones pulling the strings behind the curtains.
It is sad to see so many people out there who are being brainwashed and whose entire lives are being controlled by the media (just take a look at Fox news). The fact that was incomprehensible to me while I was doing my studies there was just how passionate people can be in defending false imposed ideals and how blindly can they stick to them, without ever critically observing them from an objective standpoint.
Obama may seem like a bright light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel, a savior that miraculously appeared out of nowhere, but is this a coincidence or not? And McCain. What actual experience (the key word of his entire campaign) apart from being a prisoner does he have in leading a country? Since when are leadership credentials generated by default in a prison? Don't even get me started on that lobotomized circus attraction called Sarah Palin.
So as you can see, you don't really have a choice, because the choice was made for you by someone else. All that you see nowadays is nothing but a show...

I'm sorry to tell you this, but your rambles are just pathetic. There are no international terrorist organizations that threaten anyone of us in the Western World, living the "Western" lifestyle if you don't count national service agencies such as the CIA (the founder and main financial supporter of Al Quaida). Hezbollah? Hamas? Wait a second, do you live in England or on the Israeli occupied territory of Palestine? Actually, it does not matter, because in any case these "terrorist organizations" are devoted to securing land for their people, and not eradicating my or your "western" lifestyle off the planet.
In conclusion: Trust no one, the truth is out there.

P.S. And yes, 9/11 was an inside job. Again, sorry if I woke you up from your purple dreams.
