Cant miss the opportunity of a snide remark can you...this is exactly the problem with this place. People try and make a difference and yet the first thing some people want to post about is the negative.

To Dynasty and the others, I appreciate the screens and the thought, thanks. However, as you can see this post pretty much sums up what the problem is with too many people.

Just a quick thought, wouldn't that be a nice screen or two for the website, somewhere? After all...what better promotes a server than the fact that lots of people acutally *play* there?

Wouldn't it be nice if for once some people could loose their egos for five minuets and make a positive post. Ho well guess somethings never change Ego before Community, guess the Void is just a parody of the real world instead of the escape it's supposed to be.

Good work to everyone, sorry I missed it, but turning up to take a picture isn't going to change anything, only changing your attitudes is going to make a differance.

Hi Stoert, long time no see. I agree that some promotion would be nice, and those screens sure do the trick. But imho most important right now is to clean the house from bad vibes.

It will take some time, but some progress is already been done. My idea is the following; we should do a "Reset Week" where everybody starts with a new freelancer character, unknown to other players, no money transfers.

We all should start from scratch and re-learn the spirit of the void, of community. Forget tags, clans and grievances for one week. At the end of the week reveal who you are, and soon you'll find out that some of those guys you hated so much are cool guys afterall. We can all get along.

That can happen, that can be fun.. think about it.

And Strail, I understand you might be somehow upset about the direction The Void went in the last months (almost a year since I felt something bad was growing) but think about this, I think somewhere in the history of any good server a bad time will eventually come, crisis installs and only the really good servers/communities survives to these kind of erratic happenings. I'm pretty confident that we will survive to this "storm" and become stronger. "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger". We all need to work, work hard to achieve our main goal, real enjoyment and fun.

I don't usually post much, but this time I had to.
