I think it had to do with the current year of the Void. By how it started not FL storyline years.

It does mmake sence. 2112, 2115 , 2145.

And if thats true, in the new mod maybe our ships will be ''outdated''

Actually it's related to a favoured song of Strail / TIODS as I recall.  I don't remember the song however so if anyone makes the connection to the year 2112 feel free to hypothesise in the right direction lol

There's a song by Rush called "2112", that might be the right one but don't quote me on that.

Yes its a album by Rush called 2112 Released:  April 1976  and it is Strail's favorite Rush album. That is why it was so named..

Aye, that's exactly what many of us mostly expecting from the new mod. Just get rid of all stuff that causes lag and slows down the server and we will be happy  :)

Are you moving up the ingame timeline from the origional game being set somewhere in 104 and ur pushing it up in the timeline to 2145?
