Jus do what they did in the good 'ol days, goto a planet and claim it
Think we might do that soon, something like Crete or FP9

That's how we use to do it!
Nothing has changed in that respect.
It's not against server rules unless it's a dock kill.

I agree just sit outside a base like for example New Tokyo, and anyone who comes near it just blast em. Pirates do that with a base and no-one but pirates ever goes their!

If a clan really does want to have a base i just say go qualify for a Planet/base in the clan system, and then you may even get your own ship too.

lets see
you buy 1 base from adimn for 20 mill (not buy rent )
and then other clan wish to take it
they raid and hold it for 1-2 hours
but before you post it on main forum
and then you have a fight, youy can ask your allies to help you to raid or to defend
next month you have privilege to rent it again if wanted to BUT
1 clan can have only 1 planet or 1 base per month unless they do raid on other planets
so thats an idea
ofcourse clan system is out of limits
this can be done wright now
and admins in new mod could name clans planets by simple names not clans and add few more planets for new clans in the future

HOW DO WE QUALIFY FOR OUR OWN PLANET? I asked earlier, but no one answered. Seriously, we cant do that unless we know how. Please.
whats that? don't like it? well 2 bad 
if you want to officialy own a base or system then you are in wrong place. why would I say that? well cuz this server is not dying like the other servers that do that.
