If there was a Freelancer 2

There will never be another freelancer .....or for that matter another Anvil game as Anvil was shut down and disbaned to other jobs thus there won't be another freelancer...

Perhaps but a game no matter who wrote is just code. All that has to happen is get a group ambitious enough that loved Freelancer who somehow get access to the code base and bam they can rewrite it to be whatever they want. That's all it's gonna take.....
