We are new to this server and not up to date with it's history but our clan, CCF, is not based on one game only but on the concept of friends playing together and having fun. That's why we are some 10 years old as a clan.
And we don't care having an official status on any server. It's nice but not the goal of our clan.
But in all the arguments presented here I do miss one major argument.
FL is an old game and not too many people buy, or download, this game so let alone create an influx of new people to this server or any other for that matter.
Just take a look at how many servers there are and how many people play on them.
Most have a few players or are completely empty.
A few servers are still loaded but most of those players are regulars who've been playing there for a while.
Look at the UT and how many hyperactive servers there are. You'll see that is a limited number.
As with most older games.

Kind Regards,

EoN

yes tobias, I see that problem, that is only problem, but it might be able at least 50% of clans join into 1 clan, I mean that clans start to making at least from 2 clans 1, to have moreclan members active, u know what I mean, to have stronger clans

I am not forcing nothing, I am just suggesting that at least we try to combine few clans, if it's possible

i agree with the fact that there is to many clans

i see new people creating new clans when they start here
they dont even look the clans that was already official
they just want to lead something i think
but some times they go official and boom
3 months later they disapear
my oppinion is that we should have higher expectations
for a clan that wants to be official
for exemple : clan players must be active for at least 2 months

and i think the void will not die, its just like a low player activity time
but  players will be back soon

Ok, first of all, I can't say I agree with you, reason, man, your're here, dunno, 2-3 months (this is not to judge you or anything like that, just facts, nothing personal at all), so I can't say you saw the real Void. Start from yourself, you say leaders are inactive, well, exceusse me, but what about members, you said RL is issue, yes, why, man Freelancer is JUST a game, nothin more, RL is RL, it's ok for you, 'cos you're 14, your parents are worriing for real problems etc, and because of school, when you're online? Only maybe on Saturday and sunday, do you see my point, only because of school you're on weekends online, but what about the rest of us, ones that work, that need to face some real problems every day, ones that have maybe 2 jobs, have children, wife, you always need to work something at home, so what you're getting at, leave that all because of game??

That are some facts bro, you can't change it, and as I recall, this is still server where all ppl have right to say what they think, so, by tellin someone new, even if he's great PVPer and player "Hey you can't start your new clan here, you're new, join one that is here already or be gone",  where would that lead to?? I for once, as clan leader wouldn't let 666 dissapear, why, 666 is on this server over 2 years now, and not to mention other clans that are here way longer, they are part of identity of Void. Yes new clans come and go, but so new ppl, some stay, some leave, that's just the way it is man. BTW. you ever been online in evening hours, you'll change your mind for sure when you see how many ppl are online.

That's just my 2 cents in a hurry lol, I'm changing house roff, so this is written in a break. I apologize for any misstyps or some wierd sentences,  :D  :D .

EDIT: I agree on one part, inactive clans, well maybe there  should be a bit stricter requierments for a clan to be official.

so amrod, if I am new I can't type these like topics? I have internet, and I see 11 ppls online, and I've played for more then 500hours, I've seen much of Void, I never said I saw whole Void, and I wrote this topic not to turn whole Void clans to the doom, I wrote like that so others can see it serious, why do u think u know my intention in this? I just wrote this topic so Strail can see what ppls think bout clan situation atm, I am not the 1 who will make decisions, Strail is, so u see that ppls have wrote many suggestions, THAT WAS MY GOAL IN THIS, so now Strail or admins can see what ppls think bout everything :D  :D  :D

The Void is what you make it.

No change in Clan rules is planned.
Rich history of the Void is contained in many Clans.

Consider your note read by Admins.

Every year we see one post like this. FL is dying, Void is dying, it is an old game, it is inactive, etc......

Of course one day  new generation of this kind of game will come, with a lot of improvements and we would play that game, and FL will die. But at the moment, I only see normal oscilation of ppl in the VOID.

About clan leaders, I dont believe that few ppl makes the difference. So it is not a clan leaders question to be more active, or more RP. It is a question of all ppl.

And Admin never tried to change things because one of the most important tihing of VOID, the thing that I like more, is that you have simple rules, follow that rules, and the rest IS UP TO YOU.

Get fun

now when i rea so much posts i know where is the point.

1 need really restrict clans to became official for egz need have at least 10 members ;)

and other really bad thing.

VOID is getting boring coz no new mod thta it( i dont wanna say that admins pls do it faster i will w8)

but look at hamburg almost always full. why?

because its not boring for now, why?

clan bases events bounties , engine colors lamps other stuff ,

and the last one we need more events not only pvp but huge bounties which will put all ppl on VOID in battle possitions

we need clan wars events other stuff,

so ppl will back when new mod will come :D

and like seph do :

its just my oppinion

So keep waiting guys and u will see VOID not die :D

I've said this in another post but I think it also applies here, It does take time to comprehend exactly how fast life on Freelancer really does move. Unlike some games where there is only 1 server for the whole game, there are many servers for players to choose from these days. Because of this, it seems that players on Freelancer are only soft-core loyal's and subconsciously, there are many different factors which could cause players to leave.

I've been playing this game since it came out and I've migrated to and from other servers and in only a matter of a Year, most of the players who I had played with had all moved onto other servers or to play other games. On another game that I've played, some of the players have been around for like up to 10 years or so, on Freelancer, I don't think this will ever really be possible. I think generally, when all of your friends stop playing you are less inclined to play.

This is just the way of life on Freelancer from my point of view. Being a co-leader of BBD, little over a month or two ago we were active and thriving, participating in tournaments and causing all kinda of havoc - now two months has past and some players don't even know we exist.

Anyway, my thoughts on the issue.
