Freelancer - The Void

I don't think it's so much finger-pointing as people just laying their cards down. Many are tired of the abuse. That's right... abuse. When players take unfair advantage of others with macros, aim-bots, etc, they are abusing the Void and each other. It's a shame people can't play in the spirit of competition and camaraderie, rather than the winning is all approach that is becoming more and more prevalent.

If this thread gets out of hand it will be terminated, but IMO it's time people had a chance to vent on a subject that's going to tear the community apart if it's not checked.

All the words in the world don't change the facts. You who use unfair advantages know who you are and denying it doesn't make it go away. It take courage and maturity to look inside oneself and decide to do the right thing. No one is expecting any players to come here and confess... that would be expecting too much and in fact would open that player to all kinds of bad treatment in-game. But if honor and integrity means anything anymore, for crying out loud drop the attitude and do the right thing.

Well, maybe you're right there, FM. Accusing a whole clan for the actions of some members is not good form.

Well, quite a can of worms we have opening up here. And about time, I say.

If we do indeed have players using cheesy boxing macros on the Void, I suggest that the A-Team take preventive measures. One such measure comes to mind...

Eliminate the up and down strafe keys in the next mod. No more boxing - just the right and left strafe keys for sliding and dodging shots. This might make it easier to catch the cheaters who favor the boxing technique. It would take a lot more of the guesswork out of it.

Just my two cents.

you have strongest guns who do more damage
your guns have more then 10 refire fire
you use some program when you want, that do lag. and it stop when you want
your hull is imposibile to damage, when it recah some percent
you are not imposibile to kill
you are using aimbot
your cds is strongest then normal cds
your cds is hiting in imposibile posisons
you are macro man
you are computer


That all have you tell me that i am. In whole year and long that i am in Void. I have tell you all. We will se in new mode, when will be no ini file, and new protecsion where it be. You will be the same talking to me that i cheat bla bla bla. You will then say something new that i am using. Always the same story.

LOL why get so offended then if u aint macro using or cheating? does kinda tell us all something when ppl get really offended u know lol  ;)

what u whouldont be ofended if sum1 called you a cheater? and not once but many times?

Simple, if u dont like it, dont care with it or leave the void. Those are the things what i should do if i were u.
