Headhunter, good to see you again. Good to see you wanna join in and thanks for your offer to help out. But could you hop onto your pirate char for the event? Looks like they could use the manpower lol. As it is now, we have more traders then pirates. Eagleone and myself can handle the event itself. Thanks m8.

Trav, you don't have to have a STU tagged trader ship to participate in this first run. Because it's a first, all traders from all over Sirius are welcomed. No matter what the tag. As far as the ship goes: As long it's a transport ship, it's all good. That includes an AT as well as a Thoth. The latter would make for more fun time with the pirates I think.  ;)  I'm running my Thoth also, as well as Eagleone.

For people who want to go ahead and make a STU tagged trader: the tag should look like this: =|S[T]U|=Maverick (for example). The | | thingys are done by shift-backslash and the (capitol) T should be between RP brackets, like so: [T]. So =|S[T]U|=

We are currently making up a set of simple rules for the first run. It's a try-out, so we'll keep it simple and all in the right spirit of RP, obeying by the server rules ofcourse. I will post them as soon as they're ready. Shouldn't be much to it: It all comes down on using some common sense.
Remember, the main ingredient Sunday is FUN!!!

Again thanks for all the interest. This is more then we expected. Now it's up to all of us to make it one to remember.

I would use a Pirate character mate, but i dont have one and i wont have time to set one up.  I deleted all of my characters when i left and i just keap my EVENT one.

I may not be able to attend this event anyways, i still got a few things to sort out before this event take place.  But i hope that i can take part, it could be fun.

I don't have to take part, i can just spectate and watch.  I would like to see how it goes.

I see. Well, I think it won't be much of a problem for now if you join one of the trader groups in your event char. Though that won't bring you much profit, being it a fighter... But there is still a spot open inthere. You have my 'go'.
If you do have some spare time, you could make a trader char in about 2 hours, maybe even in under an hour. I did it too. You have enough creds, so just go to the Monkeys/Robots, get their trade ship, bribe the lot and load it out with the best you can find. But that is, if you have the time.

I know it would be more obvious to let you lead the event, but Eagleone and myself have done quite some effort to get to this point, and we would like to see it through to the end. I hope you understand m8.

I read in another post you are planning to come back to Void? In that case, you are welcome in the 2nd event, next weekend. Plans have already been made and are currently been worked out in detail. This will be an even bigger blast then the first one. If you decide to make a trader again, you are mostly welcomed to join, as is everybody!  :D

How many guard units so far? I can probably come as an escort with my [AoF] char, it needs some exercise anyway. And I can log on anytime between 1200 and 2100 my time which i think is 0700 and 1600 GMT (Central Time + Daylight Savings = GMT - 5 hours... plz correct me if i'm wrong). Probably can only stay on for about an hour at a time, at most. Which trade route is the convoy taking? I would suggest a long route, would give the pirates plenty of chances to attack, making the RP more interesting. Plus longer routes mean more detours you can take at the last minute to evade the blockades.

Anyways, sign me up for whenever between the above hours, I'll show up sometime.

I would have to redirect you to the Event thread which holds the date, time and rules. It's here: Date, time and rules.

Unfortunately, the event starts at 5 PM GMT. So that's one hour after you are available. But if you manage to get there on time after all, would you be so kind to join in with a trade char? We still have some spots open in the trade groups, and have more then enough escorts for now. If you don't have a trader char yet, you are welcome to join the escorts. try to be near Manhattan at 5 PM GMT next Sunday, and wait for instructions there. All trader will gather there before they take off. You will also receive information about the details of the trade routes to be taken. Posting them here would be spoiling. Eagle and I will be leading the both trade groups, and will guide them to the trading points.
We have plenty of interesting trade routes in mind for convoy events to follow, but we will keep it simple this first run. Nevertheless the route will take the convoys through Alex, and into another system, which will no doubt bring us some spectacle. We will gradually expand the routes and other possibilities on the events to follow.

This first Convoy Run is a try-out and it's main purpose is to have fun. We will use the input from participants afterwards to iron out the bugs and improve and expand the next one.
