@HIghVoltage: Do you have the latest Void mod activated in the mod manager, the current mod being "The Void:2115ClientAUG2008v4"
And are you using WIndows Vista aswell?

yes i have the mod...and vista.. well i tried to play on other servers and i could play for several minutes with a bad connection sign then i would get the same message... it crashes to desktop only in void...

YES!!! Finally figured out what was blocking me.  So I was looking around in the services after disabling the firewall and there's this one called "IP Helper" that basically says it automatically changes your connection to IPv6.  So for those of you still having trouble try this out!

Also, after trying a few things out I can still connect even with Firewall and Defender on as long as that IP Helper stays off.
