Indeed people that cheat at games should be permanently banned for it because of the mistake they made by doing it. Ofcourse everybody deserves a second chance but you have to draw a line somewhere and in this case it is a permanent ban.

Everybody says it like you Edam, we shouldn't cheat. Everybody says we shouldn't but there are people who don't say that and cheat the hell out of a game. What do you think admins should do when they got the proof? Permanent ban the player because there is enough proof that he willingly was cheating and by banning securing a player's game with fun and joy? Or Only give him ban for like 7 days and wait for that guy to cheat again?

You can't judge anyone of taking a right descision because you aren't in the position to make one, you don't carry the burden of banning someone or not.
Now it is your friend who got banned, everybody cares for his friends and don't like to see them banned ofcourse. But if they cheated there must be a line/border somewhere to say: Sorry we can't allow this.

Keep the permanent bans in i say, even when it is one of the good guys that is cheating, they must be punished. For keeping the peace in Void, and these post won't help the peace.
Another point, Don't ever accuse anyone of cheating or hiding cheaters in their clans without any proof m8. Accusing someone like that ain't ever friendly.

Greetings,
Milithor
Well I'm going out on a limb here, my personal opinion, having never once in my life cheated at an online game is 2 strikes your out, Pernament Ban. Thats what i'd like to see. Problem is looking at the FLAC logs we'd loose half the players on the Void, but it would be worth it. Problem is you can't just go on the FLAC logs alone, as some of the false positives can be caused by lag and server crash.

If i catch you cheating twice (there can be false positives), and i believe there are grounds that the person is a proven cheat, then I will ban you and as far as I'm concerned it will be pernament, unless Vector_X decides otherwise as HE is in charge of the server.

That is my personal opinion on the matter, I have documented it many times before I became a Guard.
I don't care if you are an old friend, new friend, whatever, if this game or any other, you are not worth the sweat off my *****, if you are a cheat and if I can do anything about it your gone.

All easy to say, you try doing it. Everytime I have tried all I end up with is an inbox full of complaints off his mates, and clan mates and others it's got FA to do with. When we do ban someone for cheating, how about thinking yay they caught a cheat, instead of he's a guy I've never met, i've never looked through his game files, but he's been nice to me, i'll send the Admin 20 PM saying he's an a*****e for banning my mate.
Thats cause you all too nice m8 no offence ment, when I was a void many many moons ago I didnt give a monkeys who or what people thought of me, and I ended up banning some of my own clan m8s in the process too. :)

Anyhow, nice to see you all still alive and kicking and still freelancing, Im off to fight the russians on Eve now, I wish you all the best and happy hunting!.

Cheats only one sentence can really sum it up...

You Cheat you are no good at the Game, you are no good at the Game, step away from the PC.

Cheat = Permenant ban
Admin = One who decide who is cheating
Flak logs = some log with some details about cheaters which is 70% wrong all the time cause there is other possibilities beside cheating that this flak system depend on when measuring the amount of cheating which is LAG for example

Conclusion :

What you doing is more NEGATIVITY , look here and there , this server don't allow cheating bla bla bla , if you think that this server is not ruled good enough then simply PM the ones in charge or just leave in peace , cause what you see is that these people don't do their best to catch those cheaters , and maybe that's not true cause as far as i know , many of them doing their best all the times but that's your opinion , so if you wanna leave then leave peacefully , and without leaving for us a 10 pages of negativity which we careless about now.

Just make sure that when you decide to FIX somthing on your beloved community or server , then do it right , and don't use it negatively by giving one of the most popular posts on void more pages of negativity and no solution...

Ask yourself some question:
IS VECTOR-X not seeing all this post ? - Did he notice that this is a continue of a locked post ? - Do he ignore this crap cause it's nothing useful ?

IF you do love this place then fix it without hurting it !! and i think posting tons of negative posts and pages is Hurting it ..... the community have no authority to take a step for fixing any situation here related to Server issues , BUT ADMINS. - you talking to public ..... did you notice that ?

my zero cents lol

XENON

I believe this player ban thread is what he was referring to. Also, could you both keep it a bit more civic? Thank you.

If everyone did that and left in peace this server would be shut down long ago..

Why don't you try to sum up some ideas instead telling us on how to do it? Go on, lets see if its simple. I think its not.

We need some changes. And we need them fast.

What you're doing here? Cause you don't give a crap for whats happens here, what happens with the server WE still play on. On a server you abandoned long ago.If you just come here to try to stop flames, thanks for trying but its no help.

ok admins time to lock this thread now, i think all that has needed to be said is said.  For those that got shirty and defensive i do wonder what your hiding.  Xenon i know your not hiding nothing but next time you wanna get personal with me do it in PM.

@ Admins and Voids i think i have given you something good to look at with the whole of this thread and can only hope that the democratic approach changes for a more hands on were in charge approach and do something about this before this server loses any more players.  I for one will not be returning as i dont want to play in an unfriendly enviroment that has nothing but im better than you attitudes and remainder of the cheats that blatently get away with things when your offline.

so all i going to say from now on is PEACE OUT and enjoy and i can only hope the points are taken on board and applied to the maximum effect.
