Freelancer - The Void

I remembered smth from the SP campaing. Does anyone have a clue about what the Texas Incident is about? Because I never managed to figure it out lol.

It was from a failed experiment trying to build a "super-jump gate."   When the gate they were building and testing exploded.  That's as much as I remember.

Hmm... gonna have to take one of my heavy fighters out, and see.
