What is love?

I understand love as simple as this:

If you truly love someone, you would make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the one you love, if needed.

well, ill answer the question if you refer at it as real love, not a little friendship, when you realy care for the person so here goes :

For me love is a special bond, attraction created between 2 persons that can be in 3 wais

-fizical attraction, that happens very often and could ruin relations with other people, may eaven cause cheating
-personality attraction, that is usualy solid, and you realy care for the person
-both fizical and psychical attraction when you realy meet your pare in life, your truly bonded to the person

My favourite definition of love is the one used by HK-47 from KOTOR.

I think to some extent everyone needs love. Our world would be a bleak place without it. And everyone is capable of love,even when we dont want to.
