A law about event interfearing.

Today when i held my event, 2 shadows came and begun to disturb us, keeping us from making the event as we should have, the admins couldnt do much couse the shadows werent vioulating any "rule" (although i say they were, the very first one HAVE FUN rule, they were keeping us from having fun), anyway after asked too many times very nicely both by me, players and even entropy, they still continued with their meddling, so i want to pass a law that will say that no interfearence from any kind should be to the event, including
Clan wars
Random attacks
or any other thing, the event is a closed ocasion for its players and shouldnt be distorbed by the lowlife kind.

thnk you for your attention.

p.s.
once again i would like to apologize infront of pest, that he done all he could and i went agry upon him, im sorry bud u totaly didnt deserved that, i hope ull forgive me.

I agree with you Fox, it takes a lot of time and effort to organise 1 of these events, and then some idots ruin it for a laugh......its gotta Pi$% you off, and there shopuld be a rule against it. Every1 moans that there isn't a lot of action on the server, and then when someone takes the time to organise something some idiots ruin it for everyone

I couldn't agree more, it was a good event and took some setting up. It’s good FIREFOX took the initiative to organise something that without doubt improves the server, for it to be then interfered with. This in itself is not against the rules, OK I understand where the attendant admins were coming from, but it did spoil some of the enjoyment for many.

Although I do have to say that after the event finished, was ended “whatever”, the ensuing battle with the shadows and a pesky pirate was fun too, that was like a little event of it’s own, good fights, good fun and NO hard feelings.

So please if you are informed that a group of people are having an event, it’s polite not to wreck it or interfere, also if you wish to play too, ask or wait your turn to join in.

To Fox thanks for setting this up bro.

No. That rule should not be here i think. I had a lot of fun in trading commodities untill pirate swarms infested my idillic life  . I think shadows did right to have THEIR OWN FUN. All respect to u guys who try to organize events, sometimes they are really fun, but u cant pull this law ... i would be pi..ed too, true, but try to think of results .... What stops me from making another event? I will post on forum that i need 5 traders so we will go and have fun trading the same commodities in group (a fleet of traders huh). Every freekin pirate and every second freelancer will have fun raping that convoy. But this is an event! And pirates may shoot traders. A mission is an event too ... no?

Try to ask admins for them to declare one of systems as noPvP (except for organized and announced events) - that could work better.

I played in that game today. When it went the way it was supposed to go it was fun. It became very frustrating with the interference caused by the two Shadows Clan members who continually attacked game players. If the gold was to disrupt the fun and stop the game they did a very good job. Our team started out with seven players and ended with four. The others giving up because of the harassment from the Shadows. I see this act by the shadows to be in the same class as Ace and Unknown 5 attacking a admin. When two people can destroy the fun of fifteen or more people then some thing must be done.

YES !! Remove EVERY pirate from the server ... EVERY player who has a tendency to become a pirate. It doesnt matter why shadows did it ... it is a pirate's duty to mess with others for their fun and so they have dun :D

It is a real fun to see u guys on the other side ... when u spoil other man's fun its ok ... but nah nah ... dont let others to spoil urs ...

In the beginning I was in agreement with this rule, but now that I think about it, I have to disagree with it.

The best solution would be a seperate system, that was meant for events like the one we had today. Although it is EXTREMELY annoying that they continued to interrupt our event, making a rule against this for the whole server would only cause problems, like one person pointed out, traders could have a field day with this rule and never be pirated.

A system that had empty bases (sells only ammo and stuff like that), would be the best solution, this system could hold all the events, and rules can be put in place on this system, making it for events. But until that happens we will just have to interfere with players who wish to interrupt the events. It may not be fun, but I ike a server with few rules, and pirates always seem to get the **** end of the stick. This is Freelancer afterall, and all "professions" should be equal in regards to the rules, and these rules could be used to put an end to pirates.

Pirates are a nesscity on this server. A server without pirates is no fun, and a server without pirate hunters is no fun. We need both pirates along with those who fight pirates, and those who just run from pirates, to make this server the best server out there.

So, if I could, I would retract my vote from the Agree Option and put it in the Disagree option. The rules are fine as they are.

As a Void guard, I must reserve my opinion in order to show
respect to all others.
My comment here is simply this.
I feel that each and every one of us deserves the right to be heard.
I feel that each and every one of us deserves the chance to change our
mind.

Informed decisions are better decisions.
Tolerance of others opinions shows how open one's mind is.
There is always an alternative to every situation.

Other events have happened with no disturbance. the differance was that they were not in Sparta. maybe organize your events out side of Sparta. that is my oppinion.
