Freelancer - The Void

Just wanted to know how long you have to play here before you are considered a VET.

Well, I think there is not a certime time. Some players are veteren sooner then others. It depends more of the time online and the intensity of your play (fights, mapping, differents ships) etc...

Well i'd have to say 1year lol cause most people can't even handle 1month here cause they get owned too much xD

For me it's who you know and the relationship you share with the established vets. I've only been here for 6 months but it would be hard to tell as i'm accepted  a vet by many circles.

I have been playing here 1 year and 5 months. Void was one of my first servers I tried and I have stayed here to now.

I like this place and I don't think there is better server than Void for me  :D

i played here for... almost 11 months.

The VOID was my second server that i tried, but now i only play on it... the others are stupid  ;)

i dont know , i played hear a year now and have been as active as i know possible.

i wouldnt class myslef as a Vet , but who knows.
i dont see what seperates players that carry vet on their sig than any other player.  if u ask em in a personal veiw , i never wore that tag and even if i deserve it i dont plan ot. im no better than a newbie that comes out of the agtes of NY , and at times i dont think anyone else is.

i use freelancer game from the 2001
i was play for some mounth in hamburg, 1.5 years in j4fserver and now here in void from 1 year and one mounth  :D

and again as he came here to void we are still together  thats how old ORION clan is

For the Veteran status u need time spent on the server and skill to go with it.Some ppl can be called veterans.Most of em cant.
Veterans arent noobs thats for sure.

By the way 1.3 years since I came.Now what do u think? <):)

Well, to be a Vetran?

My husband ( Jase-Katar ) has been a member here for a year, myself, only a couple months.

to be considered a vetran in my eyes,

Players must be courtious to all ( new and old) be proficient in PVP, Trading, and play their Chaacter RP to the MAX.

example if rogue be the nastiest, meanest, most hated person in the know universe.

If Navy be the pride of the fleet, a hero to be admired by your allies, and dispised by your foes.

lastly a Vetran is one who takes the time to create intresting and Provocative forum threads that prompt people to take action to bette the game as it is played.

Good points Dust.  Truth is there are some here who are True Veterans - the ADMIN staff for sure - Most , if not all of the VOID Guardians.  There are others who have played here over a very long period of time, between two and three years at least.  These guys know their way around.  We lost some due to disagreements and some were a sad loss whilst others were unable to adapt to change and refused to even try.  Such is life.

What is always good to see is that there are new players who bring the skills and attitude to the server that reflect the qualities most seen in true Veterans.  I would count the hours that you play along with a tally of bans and such to decide whether or not you should consider yourself a true Veteran.  I dont think there is any hard and fast structure to decide this as it appears to be a personal thing.  I, for one, am not after medals!
