Death of the Void

im presuming that the new mod is still being tested.

if the server is down too long the community will just filter out to other games etc. ive already noticed the decline, and rarely see more than 2 or 3 people out by the rock in sparta, which used to be a regular hotspot. i really love this server but if theres only gonna be 30-40 people at peak times its going to become pretty boring.

personally im trying to encourage as many of my friends to play as possible, but with the server being down means i have to find them somewhere to play, and if they like it, they will likely just stay there.

any suggestions on how to save the void ?

ps:going to work now, so wont be checking this thread for about 14hrs lol

all I have to impart is the ancient wisdom of that ever-useful tome, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

It's on the cover in big, friendly letters, even.

Most of the people on void leave for a bit and come back later when things get boring, I myself included, don't worry, if Strail felt like you he probably wouldn't have kept VOID going and updated the mod

chill

Dont forget its the tail end of the Holiday Season so a lot of folks have been away or doing RL stuff with families - preping for school, getting back to work  - all of that sort of stuff.  This was probably the best time to do the testing as there were a reduced number on anyway because of the Holiday.  I, for one, have been tied up with work and try to get on as often as I can.  Never Fear, The Void Is Here!  It all goes in circles  - a bit like my brain. Hang in there dude!

You need to remenber, dedication is the best thing there is
if you leave thats 1 less person if some 1 else does thats 2 less people and so on
The admins reason are the  the server exist
but the people is the reason it continues to exist and carry on
so dont worry about it, we get a global server up there will be
many players again, with it down we can only go on with what we got
so there should be no worries eh...

well as being someone who has gone thru the new mod thing. activity always drop before it comes out, then after it arrives is when we see new records set for players on the void at one time.

hey just be glad there is no player wipe like the last time, that did cause some players to leave for a little while. we have big player drops during some times of the year even when the server is up and running thats just how it goes.

im going out tomorrow to buy a keyboard just for freelancer, as my laptop gets damn hot.
also im not panicking, the server has seemed quieter for months imo, but maybe it IS because of the times i log on, especially as many of u have stated that its still busy. i noticed the server seems to be back up, but no mention of the mod. whats happening on that btw.

Personally im a Voidian till death do us part  :D

anyone remember me from awhile back.
I was Munificentissimus Deus, [R]Ineffabilis Deus, Benedictus Deus, Verax Deus and Providentissimus Deus lol
