Freelancer - The Void

I know this is alot to ask, but could a release date be given. I want to make sure My husband and I get it on the computers and play it before we have to end our internet service.

This possible loss of service would be due to my pregnancy, we have to cut extras, and Internet is one of the first casualties.

its very sad to hear this but yes it would be good to have a release date for the new mod so people can prepare for downloading and all other things that might be neccessary.

Generaly release dates for the new Mod are not given until their imminant release. This is because it puts presure on the modders to get everything done to meet the release date, which can lead to rushed buggy work. Generally the mod is released when Strail is happy with it, and it has been tested to the best of our abilities.

The general feeling is to try and release the best mod possible, with as many buggs resolved as we can. Which leads to less down-time due to problems, and fewer revision releases.

good point verminard, making sure everything is ok before new mod is released to avoid future problems. well nobody is in a rush, we are still enjoying the current mod.

Release of the date is quite a good idea....

Thanks to everyone about the Baby, don't have a due date yet, or sex, but when I do I will try to get it posted ( befre we have to remove the internet)


We are trying to figure out a way to keep internet, and afford the soon to be coming bills for baby.

Ya, I think I've cut the cable TV and newspaper myself due to costs, but I think internet is just about an essential service nowadays, like telephone was when I was a kid. Can u imagine a home without a phone? When I was small not every home had one. We had ONE, on the kitchen wall, with a freakin dial! I don't know if there still are free dialup internet providers anymore, but some really cheap ones like Netzero are around. Yes, you can play FL over dialup, maybe you'll stink in PvP but I played all of '03 and '04 on dialup it was very common back then too.

I dont think the new mod release date will be put up by Admins as Verm said,unless it is very close.

However looking in to the crystal ball tells me its gonna take another 2 weeks or less.
