Read all the post if your going to reply to what I have to say. I know some of you will struggle because its more than a few sentences and there are words of multiple syllables.

This server is run by adults. The Admin are adults, we have families, kids, wives, jobs etc etc. You are not. In the main, most of you actually don’t give a hoot about the server or the community, as long as you can get your ego massaged on the forum with flames and incoherent spewing of something, your happy.

Now, some of you are kids, some of you cant spell and some of you have a problem communicating. This doesn’t mean your excluded from The Void, it means that you have to "THINK" about what your posting if your to be taken seriously with what you have to say. I purposely exclude mature teenagers in this post.

For me, I tend to ignore most of the drivel posted by people who really have no intention of trying to spell correctly, let alone use any sort of punctuation in what they are trying to write. Most of you don’t think about what your writing until you have posted it. Some of you actually spend more time creating smilies than you do with content.

Next, the people getting banned. You are under the illusion that we look to ban people like you. Well I am sorry to burst your bubble, but we actually play the game. Do we want to spend time dealing with the admin, screenshots arguing and flaming when we choose to ban someone? NO. If you don’t treat the server staff with any respect then you get what you deserve. If you think that you are an exception then your mistaken. However, if you want to continually challenge argue and flame server staff in posts then your heading down the only route left, exile. To many players have made server staff leave in the past because of their actions, so you need to accept that punishment if your going to go into conflict with the server staff. I don’t care how big your clan is and what you might do. Just get out of here.

So, to sum stuff up for you.....
If you stay here spend more time thinking of the content of the post.
Secondly, if you want to leave just leave, I lose no sleep over it and neither do the rest of the server staff. Why? you might ask.... Well for me, I don’t see any great community with something like four donations in nearly 5 months. I fail to see much created out of the clans in the main, apart from a group of players getting together under a tag and to be honest, I don’t see much role play by those who advocate that that’s the way to go.

As many of the people here, I am also very bored of the same people making the same flaming and the same antagonistic comments being made. So, If I find that posts are irrelevant to the community, they will be deleted as will the leaving, flaming, antagonistic and downright spam rubbish..

I would rather the forums were empty than reading the drivel that some of you post.
So I'm shaking the branch, those of you who are probably going to leave, go now to save your angst over your posts being deleted.

Now to sum up everything:

Clans don’t rule the server, they never have and never will

Leave now or accept that this isn’t the playground at school and neither is it a forum to play out your petty spam and hate posts.

Leave now, because you know you cannot post anything that the community would find interesting and you get your kicks by flaming or antagonising.

Your bored…..leave now please.

By you doing this the community can look forward to posts that are interesting, informative and most of all; a reason to visit the site and read the forums.

In 3 years I think I know just a little your (strail) way of thinking about VOID, and I am sure that you thought twice before writing this, and that you are disapointed one more time (and it wont be the last time).

iIt is not only kid/child question, many times it is an "ego" question. Too much "ego". I did a mistake 2 years ago and I felt so ridiculous that I almost leave FL forever. But I still here

Yes strail, sometimes reading forum it is just a joke. But dont be disapointed, I am sure you, as many of us, has been reading others forums in other online games, and you find same problems everywhere, it is one of the human "properties".

Keep people thinking about what are they writing in forum or in game  is a daily fight, and be sure that many people do many mistakes because we dont see face to face each other, because behind the screen people loss respect more easily than face to face.

As I said before, we are "users" not clients, and forum is a place to express  ideas, inputs, news about game, RP etc... We all agree in this, but as somebody said:

"The worst part of the Humans is that we forget"

About bans, well I can say that VOID server is not an "easy ban" server.

Well.  The very first time i joinned this server and this community was around 3 years ago.  Everyone then was friendly and talked sence without any arguements.  There was no flaming, no mouthing off and no abuse to anyone.  Thats when i liked this community and server, i thought it was the best one in the whole Freelancer game.  

Now that i have been here for a while.  Well for 3 years of my present time here, i have realised that the community and the server players have went down.  Went down from being friendly to going down to be.. well just plain kids, all the flaming, attutide, disrespect all starts towards the admins, and for what?  So that you can get your say and feel "big" about yourself?  To make your so called "mates" see your true self?  
Well, honestly.  I don't know what you do it for, but its just plain disrespectful.  The Admins and most of the players started this community.  And we don't want it to finish just because some "Kids" can't play alone and stop the mouthing off towards others.  

Give over - Stop with all of the complaining and stop acting like kids.  Start to act like "Young Mature Adults" as you may call youself.  
In reality, your not.  All you are about is yourself, and don't care about what everyone else thinks about the community or the server for that matter.

If you can't take it and start acting like proper players and community people (Like there was when the server started) - Leave, we don't want you around here.  

Think about it.

There still is some good stuff on the forums, it just gets drowned in the tirades and petty squables instigated by people who can't distinguish the point where the game starts and real life ends.

There were far less topics, but the posts tended to be more "inclusive" for people to discuss, which in turn made people want to post and comment.
These days we get the "post a screen to ban someone" or the complaints between players which are in no way RP.
Too much these days revolves around arguing about things, rather than discussing things.

I have been on the Void since - I believe - august of 2007. So not quite as long as you 'veterans'. But even in that relative short amount of time I have witnessed the degradation of common sense and mutual respect. Maybe the amount of this loss is not as big as the rest of you have seen over the span of a couple of years, but the fact that it's clearly visible within that short amount of time is a serious matter. The guilty parties should be deeply ashamed of their actions and the downright disrespect they are displaying.
Let me tell you something about myself. I have been in law-enforcement for quite some time. I have seen my share of BS and more of that nature. But honestly, the total lack of respect, common sense and decency shown by some of you here, YES, I'M TALKING TO YOU, THE ONES WHO ONLY READ THIS AND ARE TO ASHAMED TO REPLY, is truly repulsive. The way you lot take advantage of the opportunity to drag somebody else down, without actually having to face him, is a great displayer for your cowardness. I bet if I met some of you in RL, you would probably crawl under a table, or quickly look the other way if I addressed you about it.
Do you lot act that way at home too? Ofcourse not, because you are scared of the possible reprimands. Then what on earth makes you think you have the right to come here with that attitude? Because you think you are safe for those reprimands here? WRONG! You think you make yourself popular by flaming at others? WRONG! You only make other people dislike you and above all create a very uncomfortable, yes almost hostile environment for other players, who actually DO use their grey mass. The fact you obviously don't care about this, displays your awful arrogance. Difficult word? I'll explain: The fact you only think about your own ego, and the way (you think) you come across to others.
Honestly: All you guilty ones make me sick to my stomach! This place has GREAT potential to be a friendly and comfortable community, with even chances to make friends! I know, because I have made some very good friends here. And that's the reason I am still here. Because there are, somewhere in this the rubbish, still a lot of people who DO use their common sense, and show the appropriate amount of respect to the onces that deserve it. So if you don't like me: Go crawl under your pathetic little rock and die! You're not an addition to the Void, you are a pollution!!! This place would be better off without you and your crap!

The fact that the creator of this great community, who usually observes from a distance and wisely holds his tongue, now chooses to lay it all out for you ignorants, is a sign that the edge has been reached. And right he is! The general values of decency have almost disappeared in our rear-view mirror. It also tells us that any Void Guardian is a trusted individual, as Strail clearly makes his stand for these people. This too is something I would like to spill my guts about.
The way that Zebulon has been dragged down the gutter by some of you is downright evil. I truly don't understand where you got the idea you can treat a man, which has the courage to put himself in the pro-active position he has been in lately, the way you lot did and still do. Who do you think you are FFS! If you feel like acting like god, make your own server and PLEASE leave this place!
I have been watching some of the chatter going on on the forums of my formal clan. You know which one that is. And the disrespectful laughing-behind-the-back that is going on there makes my feel ashame I used to be part of this clan! Just like the posts some of those members posted here. Apparently they belong to that group of people who only care about their own. I blame myself for being fooled by that. I thought I had a good sense about people. I proofed myself wrong. Sure, the outside might look pretty nice to a newbie. But the the more you get to see of the inside of that bunch, the more you get the feeling you are being fooled, and that your efforts are in vain. ESF is nothing then a heap of scrap with a shiny layer around it.
One of their members recently asked me if I supported Zeb in his actions. The fact that he asked that very question, shows he doesn't know me. I will take this opportunity to answer to that question.
YES! I am not ashamed to say I support Zebulon in his actions and I respect his courage and his ability to take all of this crap and deal with it. I like his attitude, and his pro-active approach. People like him represent our chance to keep this place clean of rubbish like you, and maybe gives us a shot at turning it back to the friendly environment you all say it once was.
If you hate my guts now that I have said that, big deal. I will not loose a second of sleep over you bunch. Like the man himself once put it: "GO STICK YOUR HEAD IN A TOILET!" You might wanna flush it twice or even more. And if I will ever be granted with the honor of being a Server Guard myself, you will see a whole lot more of this side of me. The presence of despicable people like you, demands for a strong and sturdy hand like Zebulon offers it. Who don't wants to listen will have to deal with the consequences of his shameful behavior. Simple. and if this goes beyond your comprehension, your place is not here.

As far as ESF concerns: I told Xenon that I am ashamed of once being a part of his brady bunch, and asked him to delete my account on the site and erase every trace of my presence there. The only thing of me they will see from now on is my hind-end.

Thanks for reading and thanks to Strail for stepping up and giving us a chance to spill our guts. I honestly hope we can turn this around.

Now let's get back to acting like adults and make this place a nice one.

Referring to the ESF part: I forgot to add that there is in fact 1 member (next to Apocalypse) who stands out of the crowd: BlackDragon.

He has always been a respectable guy, and doesn't share the arrogant posture of the rest of ESF. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

The way Apocalypse and I talked about 'the right spirit' and all while we were announcing TGD, and now with our new clan -=HKD=-, was not just propaganda. We meant it. We will only accept people who proof they have the right attitude. Failure to do this, WILL definitely result in an ejection form our clan. If you think we are giving our selfs a hard time with this, I couldn't care less. Believe me, there are enough respectable people here. Call us dreamers. I don't care. I would rather have a hard time then to degrade my (our) clan to the current low level some people operate on at the moment.
This is the way I want the clan to be. And the whole of Void for that matter. And I will get there, or die trying.

I know I've mostly been a retard in the past.

I know I've done some things that I don't really look forward to reading again.

I DO know that I've said some stuff that didn't quite please anyone here.

But don't get me wrong. If I really ment those things back then I'd be gone 2 years ago...

Yet I'm still here. Sure there are some people that annoy me to my utmost limits but hey, the amount of people that I enjoy playing with AT LEAST doubles the amount of muppets.

Thanks for that Boss.   To be honest I enjoyed my job as VOID Guardian in the early days.  I changed tact slightly because of the slow creep towards all the BS.  Unfortunately it was probably like lancing a boil - all the nasty stuff leaked out at once - but it had to be done or the rot would have set in for good.  

I have deliberately not been on the server in my -=REAVERS=- mode because of all of the "problems" that seemed to rear their heads every time I stuck my head out of the hole.  I intend to rectify that and start getting back into the RP and the story writing too!  This community is in good hands.  All of the server staff care about this place and give of their own free time and their "game" time to police the VOID to ensure it is a good place to play.  I will defend that to the hilt.

Its time to draw a deep breath and start to look towards  the playtime aspect of this. There has been a spate of people wishing to set up clans - like Strail said - make sure that you are coming towards it with a dedication and not a "flash in the pan" attitude - we see so many start up and then fold within weeks.  Setting up a clan and then running it takes time and dedication - its not easy. I know - Ive done it twice!  This place is what YOU the player make it. The Forum is your arena to be civilised and to have a fun time communicating with other players - it is a place to voice concerns and question actions -but that has to be done through PMs to VOID Guardians in the first place - Dont go spouting rubbish in public - allow the VOID Guardians to act as your intermediaries in any dispute before blasting it all over the rest of the VOID.

Lets be certain of something:  The A-TEAM Own and Run this server and its FORUM - The VOID Guardians assist in doing so -  The Players that post here are the ones who make this community what it is - REMEMBER THAT - if its boring dull and full of endless cr@p about disputes and other people then it was YOU that made it that way - no one else.  Get a grip and lets get back to the basics - Gees guys this is supposed to be fun...!

well............most people dont really care on what they post,as strail pointed out "they post before they thought of their post".being a kid is no excuse for posting some flame or hate post, maturity doesnt have to do with age actually---maturity for me means how a person views and think and responds and handles a situation.
about proper spelling and grammar,we have to consider the fact that we memebers of the community are from different nations, we have to accept the fact that some members want to express their ideas in the forum but,sadly,they cant communicate well in english(me included)
i understand that there are forums in different languages(unfortunately none for me ) so why dont they post their flame or hate topics in there so admins wont understand it lol......
my point is simple....just follow the "golden rule" respect if u wanted to be respected and respect is the most important aspect of any community...respect is not DEMANDED or bought

I know what you mean. But some of us are just bad spellers. Me for example. I have horribly spelling, and English is my first language, but the rest I totally agree to the fullest.
