there has been lots of request from many players for new ships to pvp in and so on, and i like trading too, so my question is can we expect some new trading ships like large transporter the npc use, which has 99999999 cargo space, if ot then just make the same ship with 4000 cargo space. so how about it ? in this mod trading distances have now increased, piracy is running high, so can we get a bigger ship for trading so that it makes it more worth while. just a request, i am sure lots of other players are thinking of this too so what do u think, can we ?

I've been wondering this for quite a while. The NPC Trains can hold about 160,000 Units of Cargo. This is most definitely too large a ship to be readily available, but if one were to be hidden on the map or be made extremely hard to get, it would be fantastic. Clans should also be able to purchase these giants, for clan-based procuring of credits.

Take a look at the Train and then take a look at an Armored Transport. They are about the same size, just in a different shape. How could the Train have HUNDREDS of thousands more units of Cargo Space? Its a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

The Trains could easily be implemented here at VOID, and they are already in use in other Communities. I think we need nerfed Trains.

Also nobody pays tax to pirates

Ports have different routes than normal play. I think a Train will come i actually have no doubt. The money will be more i think but not that much.

Having trains with large cargo hold coud be useful for pirate RP.If you invest 2-3 mil in your cargo and pirate comes to tax you im quite sure you woud rather pay then die and loose money.
In this case however trade routes shoud be longer because they woud bring more money.

^^ Very true. Although Im talking about investments of 5-10 Mil. Granted investments like this could only be made on long routes that would require escorts.

The Train isnt exactly heavily armored, and one torpedo could easily destroy it if you look closely. Its basically a giant beam with many 'bins' of sorts for holding cargo attached to the center beam. A well-placed torpedo could easily break the ship in half, or atleast the bins, spilling the cargo into space.

If traders get bigger cargo then rais the max amount of tax.
200.000k is not much if the trader owns 2mill with 1 turn u think would be better if trader earn 5 mill and we still get only 200k? lol

I think people need to learn HOW to pirate well before they should be able to tax anything >_>

I have been here for exactly six days. I'm not going to tell you how to be a good Pirate or a good Rogue, because I honestly dont know. I can tell you, however, that the current way of doing things is terrible. Theres not much RP in it, rather just deathmatch and 'noobish' tactics like Docking Ring camping.
