Freelancer - The Void

I cannot understand what possible gameplay pleasure the fellow player =)DC(=Revenge is getting from shooting at other players without further notice, taking out the players shield (when the player realizes he is being attacked, and tries to counter-attack but with the disadvantage of having no shield), eliminating the player and then daring to say "gf".
  I believe this is both a disrespect to the victimized player and to the rules of good conduct! what you want? you want frags? you want that little number in your Stats increased? for what? to feel good about yourself? how come?! most of the fights you have are started uneven and unfair to both parties! GF my ass (sorry about that admins)!
How can you possibly feel any fun for shooting at a previously unaware player? what is your malfunction that keeps you from saying "kryzon, pvp?".

For the other players and admins, I hope this "moaning protest" hasn't bothered your gameplay - let's face it, you gotta let stuff out sometimes.

PS: Yes, I did get frustrated - condemning me for it is to admit you wouldn't feel it too some time in your life - we all feel it.

They are evil clan,they can shoot anyone > level 20. Dont take it too serious.Its for fun,evil kills people,and we, navy, try to hunt evil etc...thats 4  fun...Just relax and you  will be ok

Kryzon i suggest you stop this silly crusade against REVENGE.

This is how we play. Deal with it or do the same to us. You'll notice we'll enjoy the second part.

Kryzon, when you log into the server, what messages comes up?

Be aware that some players may try to kill you. This is a server to fight on.

While you are contending with =)DC(=  be on the lookout for Syndicate  / -=REAVERS=- / Eclipse / Black Legion / =HKD= / -=DKH=-  .....etc etc

If you feel that you have been the victim of OVERKILL - ie certain players are killing you time and time again with no repreive even when asked and you havent shot back at them, knowing it would prove futile - then please let one of the ADMIN or VOID staff be aware of it and preferably backed up with some evidence.  Spurious claims to harrasment will rarely result in any action being taken other than the necessary players being asked to lay off.

Your other alternative is to try and learn from the engagement and go get yourself some friends to revisit the favour on the Dark Cowboys.  Thats just a suggestion of course.......!

Thanks Zeb, it's always good to know  :) . But I think both Revenge and I (especially me) got some info on the subject - I never really knew how was the current status of pvp.

And since when did I say I abolish PVP? I love pvp, it's what I most like in the game (even though i'm not very good at it). What I just don't stand for is to be 'dock raped' (being shot while docking - docking so when you die you won't be back all the way you came from) or being engaged in a pvp with me I wasn't even aware had started.

See how ironic it is, I wouldn't even be "moaning" if he simply stated "kryzon, pvp" THEN started shooting. But being called in for a fight with 5 DiamondBack shots isn't really what I thought what could become a "GF". No matter, I know now it's alright to do it - I gotta be more aware.

You speak like you dislike the server. Last time I checked, you only play here if you want  :-? .

My personal views on this server are not a concern of yours, all you need to know right now is how to stay alive on the server and make friendships with more experienced players who might help you move pass the noob stage.

Hitting the F3 key 7k away from the dock and get killed while you're travelling isn't Dock killing.

Once the Animation Starts you're Invulnerable.

Once you exit a station/planet you're made Invulnerable for another 5 seconds.

There ain't no such thing as dock killing.

Like Ripper said - however there is such a thing as Dock Pinning.   Players wait outside the dock for a ship to emerge and as soon as the player is "active" they take them down.   This is harrasment in its worst form. Im not suggesting that anyone on this thread has done this - just be aware that if I find it happening it will be "big stick" time....  Ripper is right.  What you need to do is to practice "speed docking" - it takes a little bit of practice but it has saved my hide more times than I care to count.

1. Approach the docking gate on cruise with the gate "targeted".
2. Make sure you are in "free flight" to quickly avoid miscreants - DONT target your attackers
3. Level to the gate so you are approaching the two black and yellow stripped spars
4. As soon as you are level with the spars and are VERY close in - hit the F3 key.
5. If you have it right you will hear the "dock speak" as the "movie" plays immediately
6. you might dock at an odd angle and it looks a bit wierd at first - practice it and it will save your hide
7. REMEMBER - you must have the dock "targeted" or you will crash and burn.

Try it out or get others to show you first.

Die, respwan, kill..... are part of the Freelancer game. Be part of it

FFS, bloody moaner noob!!! This is a shooting game, u know this?? U know ppl killing each other here, van be new for u, but this is the fact. Stop moaning and play the game.
