Freelancer - The Void

[OOC/] Yup, this is late...but it might get the RP fires going...bear with me. [/OOC]

Last night, -]NWO[- pilots engaged with local navy forces, including Orion, 4S Squad, and RAF pilots, over planet Demosthenes in Alexandria.  For a time, both sides seemed to be evenly matched before the arrival of 4S Squad reinforcements tipped the balance in favor of the Navy.  At this point, the -]NWO[- wing elected to disengage from combat rather than fight a battle it would most likely lose, pulling back to Omicron Alpha to regroup.

RAF enforcers were also seen scanning traders for contraband.  Their new interest in illegal goods will only serve to make smuggling much more difficult.  The RAF must be punished for their insolence before their example spreads to their fellow Naval factions.  I offer a challenge to my fellow pirates:

Hunt the RAF just as they and their Bounty Hunter brethren have hunted us for far too long.  Hunt them for the backstabbing vermin that they are.  They will pay for their credits soaked with the blood of our own pirate brothers with blood of their own!

harrrrrrrr we will come over like a wall of death!

Pirates, hear the call of the Black Legion!  We watch over the pirates in Sirius as they spread decent and disorder among its houses, gnawing at the foundations of Order, making it all the easier to cast it down when the time is right.  Seek us out when there seems no escape from Order, we will pour the blood of the navy out on the altar of Khorne, more blood for the blood god!  We will slay our mutual enemies so that you may continue to spread Chaos in your own way.

I have already taken the blood of one of these vermins and offered it to the Blood Gods as a sacrifice. I was about to take more of it, before technical malfunctions - referring to the almighty lag - forced me to land my ship. As soon as I finish repairs, I will continue my raid against them, just as long until I had a taste of all of them. I have already dispatched reinforcements from the Black Legion. Seems as though this battle will soon come to an end. They are no match for the mighty Black Legion. MORE BLOOD!!!

Hunt us? Thats a spiffing idea. Only thing wrong with the plan though chaps is that we will bring the fight to you and be home in time for a Pimms.

It was an evening like any other. Since the bar was reopened, the action rose steadily each night. The crowd gathered there was a scary one for the average Sirius inhabiter. Pirates, rogues, assassins and even cyborgs. But mainly Pirates and rogues. The scum of the scum. In a corner of the large room a fight between a man with a robotized arm and a pirate that had his strength genetically enhanced was ongoing, with a bunch of space dogs cheering and betting on one side or the other. The room was filled with smoke from tobacco and even cardamine. The old wooden board was hanged above the bar where it sat proudly between to cutlasses and a skull placed above the board.

In the left upper corner of the room, at a table that was in the shadow, Pyro sat and enjoyed a shot of Maltese Scotch like in every other night before going plundering and pillaging. He was already thinking of the fat lazy traders that he will be taxing after he will take out one or two Republican Shipping freighters for his contract. "Nine already! Splendid!" he thought while taking in some smoke from his lit Crete cigar. Suddenly, a known figure entered the bar. The person scoped the room and saw Pyro. He made his way hastily to his table.

- OI! Pyro! What ya've been up to ya old space dog? asked the man with a big, friendly grim on his face.
- OI lad! Nothin much, Scorpion mate. Just taking business as usual, ya know, replied Pyro while giving his friend a big, warm hug. WILL!
- Aye, mate?
- Bring Scorp here a shot of the good stuff, will ya? And be a gent and give me a refill also. C'mon get a move on, we don't have all night.
- Sure thing, boss. On the house!
- Good man. Now Scorpion fella, tell me, what's this about?Here, here, have a cigar. They're the best ones, ya know, from my private stock.
- I'll tell ya what's going on, mate. A war, that's what! said Scorpion, suddenly becoming serious.
- A war, ya say? A war with who? We're always at war with someone mate.
- Aye, but this one's for real. Enough is enough! For too long we've been hunted down by the navy and hunters. For too long so many of our comrades died at their hands. Remember old Blackjack? Remember how his ship burned with him in it? It's time we even the score, mate! Scorpion was almost screaming. The room was now quiet. Everyone was paying attention to what was going on. The enthusiasm was rising by the second.
- Aye, you be right on that one, comrade. It's time we even the score. AND EVEN WE SHALL! They took our blood? In blood they shall pay their debts! They took our ships? We will take one hundred more ships from them! They shall face the cold, death of the LOCKER! Pyro was now standing, with flames in his eyes, every muscle in his body tensed, ready for war. His fist hit the table, the sound entered the heart of every man and woman in the room. A quite whisper started growing into a war cry.
- Blood...blood...BLOOD...BLOOD! The scum of Sirius was ready for revenge. The pirates were ready for war.
- To arms my brethren! Let's take back what they have taken from us! Pyro picked up his plasma shotgun and released a primal shout from his throat. He made his way to the door, with Scorpion right next to him, with every pirate in the "Shattered Bone" following him.
The skull and cutlasses above the wooden board just sat there. You could almost see a grim on the deadman's skull. A grim of revenge.

Hmm...pirates ey? You have a willing spy...for what you can plunder...
