Newish Player

Hello everyone.
Im new to these forums but not to this game. Yesterday I tried to play multiplayer after not playing for ages (1-2 years) only to find the servers are GONE. So with a little googling and an ini file change Im back in business.
Who am I, a regular games player just like you. Only I play games as a means for pain management. I play games to remove myself from the physical pain I suffer.
I really like open ended games that give the player freedom to go anywhere one wants.
I live in Australia so my pings are not the best. I prefer to RP as a trader mostly with the odd contraband run when the opportunity arises. Im not too keen on PvP but that is part of the game so must put up with it, lol.
I cannot for the life of me remember the server I used to play on but I had a level 36 character using the same name. And a measily 3mil in cash from hauling anything of value.
I did have a nice trade route up north flying a dromedary for full profits New Tokyo to Tohoku and back. You may know the route. Does it still exist!
As yet Im unable to get the Void patch downloaded. I keep getting a 1kb file only when I click the Go Get It button.
