I hereby invite all Pirates to join the
True Pirate Alliance

True Pirates are players who has chosen to play only as a Pirate and swear not to be or become a Hunter or alike at all times.

We are rare but that will only make us unique and respected by our own kind and the other players on the server.

We know that we can trust each other and that (Clan) secrets are kept within the TPA.

It is not obvious that members of our clans are by default members of the TPA.

The True Pirates Alliance is an alliance between players (not clans!). Players who have Hunter or Mercenaries characters cannot join the TPA (otherwise it would not be a TPA, right?  ;) ).

The TPA is only an alliance in name; we don't have characters on-line nor is it a clan on his own. It is a restricted group of players who have chosen to play and always will play on the Pirate side.

The TPA has its own board which is hosted on the YMER forum and only visible to the members of the TPA.

So I invite all Pirates out there, who are and always will be True Pirates, to join the TPA.

We hope to welcome all True Pirates out there soon

Question, can we have freelancer characters? Just as long as no hunter or mercs?

If they are neutral characters then, YES you can.  
With "Hunter or alike" we mean all characters that are not Pirate friendly. True Pirates will know what we mean with that  ;) .

The TPA exists since May 2007.
True Pirates will find the way to the TPA but again, we are rare  ;) .

I started the Grand Pirate Alliance a while back. It never caught unfortunately. Anyhow good luck with this.

Any TPA plans will have to be put on hold for now because ODEN, the organizer of this, will be absent for some time due to personal reasons.

I will say, for clarification, that the TPA has never been any sort of binding organization to my knowledge.  
It has been more of a brotherhood of those dedicated to True Piracy, that being players who only played
as pirates or neutral characters, with no anti-pirate characters.  In the past, wherever the TPA existed,
events would be held for TPA members, gatherings, etc... , but TPA members were their own lords and
masters.  These "gatherings" were generally crashed by the anti-pirates amongst us, making a bit of
fun for everyone.

That said, the TPA may rise again as I described, but for now I must concentrate on the YMER Clan,
it's leadership, and understanding the alliances/rivalries that we have forged here on VOID.

RPG and BRO tried this way back in the day....but stalled out.  It is much harder then you think to convince pirates to join a union together.  It was a great idea and I hope yours works.  Maybe I could join........if I ever get the chance to come back when I am not so busy.

This worked way back before RPG and BRO tryed it thou. Back when XEF,HFC, and others made it work  How ever the hardest part of it all is to make sure no Navy,Hunters, Police, Mercs, ect... get access to it.

I for one tryed the so called good side once....It just isn't me. I will always be a pirate or on the so called "Dark Side"  >:)

I'm back in action now and I like to bring the TPA back in the spotlight.
We can all read above that a number of attempts have been made in the past by true Pirates who are still around. If all these Pirates would join the TPA then we would have a great alliance...not?

Oden, How goes the TPA here? I remember the alliance you have forged on the other server and have faught with you guys and gals as {RG}. I hope you have the same success here as ou did over there.
