Freelancer - The Void

Recently, a group of scientist found an old ship floating in Sirius space. After a quick scan, they noticed that the ship was actually a Wolverine, a ship used by the Alliance during the Eastern Alliance/Western Coaltion conflict (For those who doesn't get the reference, the character actually comes from the game Starlancer, which is the game before FreeLancer.).The ship was dysfunctional, but the pilot was cryogenised. The message log of the ship was also taken. As they took the pilot back to safety and started to un-freeze him, they at the log more carefully....

I am named Mark Briggans. I was the leader of the 45th of Volunteers during the conflict. I don't know what happened, everything just... blew up. I was near the dark side of Pluto when it happened. I tried to find any other survivors with my computer, but I couldn't even find the sun... until I realized it was gone. I decided to cryogenize myself and to Hyperjump to the System of Sirius, hoping that I shall be saved someday. I was proud to serve as the 45th's captain. I am sorry if anyone finds this short log, but I don't know how long I will last...

A month later....

Diceman was fully recovered. He was startled by the idea that he was around 1000 years after the year he left... but he never gave up. When he heard about the new world, he promised himself to reunite a 45th of Volunteers, and to drive out enemies of law.

(Hello, I also have some issues..... I seem to have lost my ID. I can no more access MP... anyone could help me? I was a veteran Vanguarder before, and I joined back Freelancer yesterday, remembering how good it was... and the only server I could remember was the Void. Some of you maybe met me as Herlock?

The war had been raged there long and the fact that some one might have survived the sun explosion don't surprise me...
The only thing that bothers me is this, someone from the Alliance survived...
Well for me that means more good guys to kill, more people to sacrifice to Khorne...

On more thing, when saying you were a veteran Vanguarder does that mean you used to play on the Vanguard server or is it something I just don't know that is here on the Void?

Sadly, the RaVeNs, best damn clan ever, dispatched after more than a year of great service. Let's just say that when they quitted, they weren't as great as they always were.... rules were softer, there was no more taxes, and they decided that since the War for Rheinland was making the server live by itself, they weren't needed anymore.


The war for Rheinland (Which I was one of the party's leader back then) proved that even minor clans can have an impact on a whole server. Several clans ganged together, in hope of ruling and to take over Rheinland for themselves.... good ol' days
