Sometimes my lasers don't track?

I have been playing in game for the last couple of weeks and over that amount of time i have been noticing something very strange about my ship. At first i thought it might just be me missing my target and that i might just be scraping ships with my shots. But as i have found out today that is not the case.

Pretty much the problem is that whenever i hit a ship, i more often then not do not take the right amount of damage? i had to take 4 shots to kill a wa1 that was sitting still? Another time i shot dynasty twice sitting still and he didn't die.

Multiple times i would shoot wa1's and viper's shield (6 laser shots should take it off) And they either have half shield or 4 bars left. And sometimes it would be taken completely off.

Im not downloading, streaming, or anything like that. So is it a server problem?

Im gunna try installing Fl and the mod now. But i would like to hear if the server is having any problems atm? Because my hit reg really is poor and its not very fun.

Sometime , I'd noticed same problem, and after that I realised the net is framing cause my router.Now, i don't use it in game, i use direct connection >-

Tonight i got kill as i was undocking , 1st time half my shield was taken ,
2nd  i died, both times b4 the undock animation was finished  What is going on ?

i have had similar problem with this - i jumped into alex and as i was coming through gate 2 black legions started firing at me , by the time i got control i was dead - i jumped through again and they fired again , this time i was able to run for it.
also the other night everytime i undocked from barsine base greaver was doing it. he killed me a few times by doing this b4 i got control over my ship.eventually i was able to make a run as he was finishing off somebody else.

also greaver i use lasers aswell and i have shot ppl that have been sat there for over 5 mins and hey guess what ( no or hardly any damage) now for a sitting target sat there for over 5 mins - a cannonball - is it 6 lasers - sunslayer torp -and a hornet should wipe a wa1 clean out - but i like i say -no damage - if they do take damage their shield only drops to half then regens back up.

also last night i was fighting a pirate - he was taking no damage at all and i explain this to him. he said ooppps
he did not log out of game he stayed where he was in front of me. 1 min later he says now i can take damge
now can someone explain that 1

About your experience with that pirate (which is actually a rogue, judging on the screeny):

The only thing I can think of is that he just logged on when you ran into him and the 60 secs protection hadn't worn off yet.

I don't have a clue about the laser damage.

no he was in game for quite a while and he had been undocked for a cpl of mins - i circled for a few mins b4 i attacked
it was very strange how when i told him he said oops - now i can take damge - without anybody even shooting at him
i know all about the 60 sec rule - i am not thick and i dont attack within that time
and sorry my mistake - it was a rogue, not a pirate

Jester lets get this clear mate. I don't attack you until you have control of your ship. You die, deal with it. Your claims may be valid with others, i dont know so i wont comment.

But as it seems, other people are noticing problems somewhere or another.... Anyone else had problems?

yes iv had some problems today

i shot Sadman and Lexan 3 times and the third time made damage. the first two shots did nothing ?

whatever this is its spreading
maybe its the server having minor laggs?

Talking about that, when first logging onto the server, there is severe CPU usage, causing lag. I logged on and it was using 100% CPU!  @-)

After a while it passes by itself, but it's extremely annoying. It's a relatively "recent" thing, it never used to happen. And it's definitely not only me that has it.

yes i also get alot of lag when i log in, it goes after a while but if you get attacked as soon as you log in, it aint half a pain.

greaver i dont make accusations - when i say something happened, it did - i was only saying m8t it not a problem
so in the cut scene when i can clearly see weapon fire hitting me, i am imagining it - no i am not - and by time i got control of ship i died. and guess what - jester was gunned down by greaver - multiple times

and i thougt it was my half working CPU lol
