Freelancer - The Void

My ship (Celtic Merchant) is stuck in the docking bay of the Stokes Mining Satellite, Leeds system.

Would it be possible for a VOID person to 'rescue' me? jump my ship from inside to outside?

Well, i found out that one can use the mines to kill oneself and respawn.... how interesting.... cost me a boatload of mines, but it worked.

Hi, yes, it happens sometimes.
One trick is:
Place your ship facing the exit door and try to dock at the base again.
Your ship will start moving trying to find the way in, but you're allready in.
If your lucky, you'll be allowed to dock through the same gate, so it's opening at this time to let you enter.
Once the door is open, click on free flight and fly out manualy from there before the door gets closed again.

I did Green you 3 times last night to ask if you where still stuck but got no reply, as I could have come to get you out. But glad you sorted it Bro.

Happened to me twice,first time i was a newbie and just terrified that my char will be stuck there for forever.

I will agree with Hash,it is a good way to get out.Or u could kill ur self.

yeah i recently got stuck and I had no mines (beginner character with a beginner ship). I just pressed dock and I instantly went into the station. I guess we should be situated far enough back away from the door. xD

yeah, i was flying near the station and got d/c.  The next thing i know, when i reconnect, is that i've been moved to the docking bay.  For the life of me i couldn't get the ship to move at all, even when I F3d to dock...I'd see the doors open but couldn't move.

An outlaw group came and was shooting at me, and that's what gave me the idea of suiciding and respawning, hopefully as a normally landed ship. It worked!

Shazam!  I learn something new about this game every time i play.
