right im sorry to sound like a snob her our out, but its Logic pro or nothing
I have reason 3.0 and its got some good synths ect but its limited, you cannot add VSTs to it
Logic has everything, its not as good as pro tools but its still good for mixing
for producing logic pro again, the inbuilt instuments are just phenominal...

im going to upload my stuff on youtube iv just not got round to it.
Iv been producing now for about a year

i do music
i play piano , i have a small band , me and my friends , it's not official band , just some friends who used to play some music since high school till now , in a small studio next to my house , called " Double Vision "
My small band is named " Necrology " and we play Oriental Metal & Symphonic Power Metal music , We are 7 Friends , Me on Piano , 2 guitarists , 1 bass guitarist , 1 male Vocal , 1 Female Vocal and 2 Violin players.
We played some covers too for " HAGGARD " if anyone one into metal music.

Personally , i Create Music myself , i Create TRANCE / RAP / ORIENTAL / CHILL OUT / METAL music on my personal pc , away from studios - i have a friend who RAP in arabic , i composed some tracks for him to use it , and he is in process of using one of my latest tracks "composed by xenon" so wish me luck.

i sent 3 of my Trance tracks to " NILE FM " wish is a Radio station for music in Egypt , but only foreign music , since trance tracks cant be tuned-on arabic nile FM station .. , Unfortunatly i can't send any of my tracks over the internet - cause most of them are like a source of cash to me , maybe taken by FM station of by my RAPPER friend.

Actually we made an advert. for NOKIA N96 , the music composed by one of our " Revolution " DJs , enhancements and effects , beat by me - i know you will not understand the words cause it's in Franco-Arab , which is a language created by Youth here , mix between English and Arabic languages - the idea of the advert. is very funny , as it shows the quality and the chances of using the nokia n96 camera best resolution that time , it's was brand new when released , and the idea shows that you can use that quality phone camera to take movies of strange things you see in the streets of cairo and send them over the internet to nokia egypt website then your most strange funny movie might win a brand new phone from nokia latest releases. . - things strange like a person riding a bike in middle of street with some things over his head !!!! , or a crazy air condition tech. worker , who stand over a very hight building loose without having a rope as example for safety  - so ppl should record movies about those strange things , so they can send and win - advertisements lol ....  nice idea eh?

Well i used to blast around on some crappy programs for makin music but gave it up after a while. But would the bong count as an instrument? cuz i can play some well good stuff with it  ;)

Whilst not tecnicaly what some would call a musician... I just get other folks music and do creative stuff with it on my record players and personal home computer I've got reason 4, although I've not touched it yet, too scared after ableton left me cold.
And yes, the bong is an instrument, all be it of mass destruction =P~

@ Trav, Try it out! it wont bite ya but, errr, it wont work with onboard sound...u'll need asio-drivers for it to run without delays, otherwise it'll be a bit frustrating

but please, ableton Live and Reason are two different worlds...Like Freelancer and Freespace u know )

Poor Asmo, he's not realy a freak once you get to know him  :P  I'm gunna see if I can update this pc before havin a crack at reason, will sort the drivers out also.
