splash crash- g card problem?

hi all, at time of posting i have just downloaded the 2115v9 mod and installed it ok, however.... it has a problem with my 3d graphic card (i think)and crashed as soon as it hits the splash screen (which is very good by the way)
anyone help a old pilot get back in his cockpit?

i have a NVIDIA Gforce 8800 GTS 512 card
seem to remember a patch for graphics cards but cant find it now..

hope someone can help get me back.

I have same card, 9800gtx+ and I´m not satisfied too. What devil whispered to me to buy a GF and not an ATI as always.
But the problem is probably elsewhere I think.

Check savegames and delete or move out all of them  if you have something in there. Some other mods generate save file that crashes FL on flash screen. At least this was solution for me the last time and Zeus had the same problem in the past. Hope this helps.

thanks for the advise,

i had to reinstall the game but ive actually got it runnning ok now.
still not showing up any server to play on though, either lan or net. ive tried the direct lauch/connect from here and also typing in the IP addy manually then launching.
lol downloaded about 4 diferent void mods claiming to be the latest 2115v9 with the patches n stuff,

what am i doing wrong?
probably something simple...
can anyone help?

looks like it is the firewall, ty for the tip quasar,
i added a couple of protocal rules for 2302 port and managed to get the server showing to join .
alas the game crashes every time i try to connect to server..

im pretty sure i have that one loaded into ffm asmo, but will re download it n stuff anyhows thanks.

in the meantime...
im running XP. with kaspersky AV. so any further stuff i need to do on the firewall side of things i would appriciate any tips or settings info.

ok chaps, i redid the mod thanks ASMO, and further tweeking of the anti v firewall thanks quasar inabled me to loggon successfully. ROCK ON- or should i say SCREAM ON!

i guess as this is now sorted this thread can be locked.. upto the person with thread locking powers though lol.
