Hello. Just poking around, getting settled, and exploring The Void for now. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Any way to keep my starting ship? I'm looking to identify a replacement before I sell it for a trader. There were a few largish traders for sale, now I just need to find a combat ship for after.
