Freelancer - The Void

As ive noticed (and many of u denie) recently there has been alot of sig competition around the server, each in others throat trying to proove they are best..

well in order to avoid any bad feelings or feeling of a dirty competition, i propose a weekly "best sig" contest, this will allow players to practise their skills with a more "sportive" inviorment as well as we will be able to see some different styles and this will insipire greater sigs and greater fun.

judges shud be the admins, since they are netural lol

place your thoughts here, shud be fun.

p.s.
my proposition is not for just "any" sigs, but also a theme sigs, which will be availible for the taking after the contest by the artists order.

good idea, nothing wrong with a little healthy compitition......

maybe admin should award a prize to the winners , maybe some credits or somthing, would be a good way for people to earn some money for the void without trading.....

I've been through many of these on GFX forums before, keeping to a theme is always a must, but also posting a single render that must be used also works very well!

Some people cannot always find decent renders, so keeping the entire contest to a render per week is IMO the best idea!

Also stating whether it is to be animated a or not; can be personal choice, must have, or none at all!

Also instead of just having the admins as judges, by having some sig creators that don't mind sitting out of the competition, would mean that the sigs are judged on skill and PS/PSP talent, and not just personal preference, depending on whether all the admins would be able to spot this!

This idea could really be launched, and take off on the Void! (Little play on words there)!

Also to encourage creativity there should be a section for sigs that are 100% original created from scratch, all source material created by the individual.

BUT!

all sigs for competition must be without autor's name,and be sent to Admin.
He posts them all without name of author,just number...after that community decides...ok?

well we try to make one a couple of months a go but i dont remember what happend whit that one .......But any way if you guys make a torny im in..... Vote: Good idea

all we talking bout, or shud start is a weekly competition, small one,

rules for the competition, and perhaps orders (another idea, we can make order competitions, all who want a sig replies with a certain pattern and the sigs displayed)

anyway, the idea with the numbers is great, but each sig creator have its own style so its not hard to tell whos sig is where, but a descreate players who fear the bad coments or just shy, can certainly express themselves, so a good addon.

and well, u got the power to make it happen, i expect this up in less then a week, u can make it happen in days
