Another threat against Cruisher.  :twisted:

Every time Admin make new ships, the "experts" start to look for bugs, the "experts" start to bla bla bla.... and they never stop, since the ship they dont like is fixed or deleted.  :roll:

Cruisher is as bugged as anubis, conqueror or Valkiry. Just a few used Cruisher in the last half a year, and the "experts" didnt say anything, now ppl like cruisher, and then "experts" want cruisher out of mod.

I like use to fly in eagle, annubis and now Cruisher, and I dont see any special bug. I kill cruishers, annubis, and rest of ships. I dont see difference, well, the difference is the pilot

I think that "experts" should fly and fight in a cruisher for 2 or 3 days. It would be a pleasure to kill them many times

I'd like to point out that people have been moaning about the crusher since it's inclusion in the Mod.

Then I'd also like to point out that someone is always moaning about 1 ship or another.

As my understanding goes, the TC was based arround the Titan, but beefed up, and here where the problem lies, as I remember many a discussion about the fact that the original ship is bugged.

The way I see it is if you think the TC is a bugged cheater ship then don't fight players who fly it. If you do fight them, then quit moaning about it, the Admins are well aware of the problems, but iyou will have to wait til next mod update for a fix.

Some random thoughts on the topic. Please bear with me as I ramble...

It's pretty much old news that the Crusher's hull is flawed. It's a design flaw. The Horus, Titan, Legionnaire, etc. all have the same flaw.

This makes the ship partially invulnerable, if you shoot it at certain angles. Partially invulnerable is the operative term here. It can be hit and destroyed. And as Ent pointed out, it's a veritable missle/torp magnet. If an unexperienced pilot flies it, no problem. If a veteran is flying one, you have problems. It's wep power plant is fairly weak, but sniper guns and a power enhancer make it a ship to be loathed.

The Void is a competitive place, at least from a PvP perspective. Most pilots will be flying the ship that gives them results. For some pilots, that is all that matters, and they will conveniently disregard any issues of unbalance and bugginess. They have a tendency to believe that the most important thing is that they have their bit of fun. Everyone else can go jump in a lake. Victory by any means and all that...

So, what to do?

I guess I'll just weather this storm out. And wait for my Nomad Highbred

I think the operative word here is that we don't GET to choose to fight them, people shove them in our faces, especially shonen lately ...

I'd rather not fight a crusher, but when every tom dick and harry starts using them, we got problems ...

I am using one to try and get the upper hand back, because frankly I tend to fight fire with fire.

I'd love it to be fixed, but thats not gonna happen soon

I have a Titan Crusher.

I get beaten up by slow moving barns.

The A51 must use 4 or 5 different VHF's and no one favours the Titan Crusher.

Missile boats beat the crads out of most pilots.

The Titan Crusher may have a slight edge on other VHF's if guns and only guns are used. Few mount just guns.

I think torp boats are scary but will still pvp one. They are far scarier than a Titan Crusher.

Simply put, the DTA in other VHF's make a real mess of me and spill my port. I could be in two Titan crushers and they'd still smear me across the universe. If you're scared of a pilot in the Titan Crusher then he needs to be a better pilot to beat you.

One simple fact is, pilots get better in the crusher no matter how much they deny it.

I have beaten peopel outside of the crusher without an increidble amount of work, weither it be an eagle, viper, or anubis, including the infamous POP. However when they step into the crusher the difficulty increases extremely, the simple fact is: Float like a light fighter and sting like an anubis (sorry mr. ali) its simply out of balance. Its like keeping up with a light fighter that can smack you back just as hard if not harder then you can hit it.
