Argh

[Roadbug]

The person known ad Roadbug is currently in the hospital. As a result of complications from injuries sustained in an accidend last fall, he may not be available either to play or participate in this surver.  

What happened is that he was struck by a car while escorting his niece and her friend while trick or treating last halowe'en.  It appears the he has a blood clot in his brain that has affected his motor skills to the extent that he collapsed and lost conciousness for a short time.  

At this time, there appears to be no long term damage, but he will be unable to walk or move freely.  He is responding well to medication and is able to communicate quite well.  When awake, he is lucid.  The main problem is a severe persistant head ache and visual problems that prvent him from seeing clearly.  The blood clot is small and easily treatable, according to the specialist.  Roadbug should be released fairly soon and hopefully there will be no long term health problems as a result of this.  I currnetly have his passwords to this and other sites that he is active in and will try to keep his friends posted as to his progress.  To show that he is doing o.k. the first thing he asked for at the hospital was his computer.  The second was to see his dog, and then asked what was for breakfast.  

If there are any questions, I will try to answer them later today.  I am his room mate and will have access to this system unless the hospital administration allows him to have it while he is there.  As I am not familiar with this site, I will post here unless directed to else where by the site aministration.  I hope that those of you who know him will pray for a speedy recovery.  Thank You.

This news has stunned me a bit.  
I hope he makes a speedy recovery.I have been chatting with him a lot.He is a great guy.
But i just saw him the players in-game list,that means he is alright again?I am afraid i cant understand.Sorry for my such dim wits.

I am still in the hospital, but now have my puter and 3 modems linked for a connection.  Am calling my room mates puter and linking to broad band.  Saves cost of ISP as no decent free one locally now days.  Makes for some serious lag at times, but is better than staring at the walls.  Even managed to get my game cd.s.  Wasn't hard to get permission from hospital admin either, as they said no and I started to get dressed and told em the nearset Veterans hospital would love to treat me and would let me have my puter with a much better net link too!!!  Suddenly, my puter was there, I was allowed to go outside with my roomy (2 person room here) and a few other perks as I am a paying customer.  Glad the kid driving that car had insurance.
 The reason I am in the hospital is that a blood clot lodged next to the optic nerve of the left eye.  This has been causing severe headaches and dizzyness.  I apparently lost conciousness while watching a lmovie with my roommate at home, and woke up in the hospital.  Don't know how long they will keep me here, the food sucks, the coffee sucks, and I am being held for observation while undergoing treatment to get rid of the clot.  
 I will be able to play as stated above, and am glad as the Tellivision sucks and nothing else to do.. Thats why I was going to leave when they said I couldn't have my puter.  Well, off to the void!!!

Well, hopefully I'll survive the shots in the "BLEEP" that I keep getting, and the "BLEEP" food. The coffee is worse. I hope that the Bar that A51 Shipper opened does delivery. I REALLY WANT THAT PIZZA I ORDERED, and could use some decent coffee. Even tea would be nice compared to the "BLEEP" that I get now. Thanks for the notes. Is nice to no your friends think of you when your down.

Glad to see your conscious and have access to your comp and the net. I've spent some times in hospitals after a motorcycle accident and can sympathize. Hope your released from captivity soon

I never claimed ta be a nice person.  I try ta be a person, only.  Aside frum dat, I HATE HOSPITALS AND BEING TOLD WHAT I CAN OR CAN"T DO AND I WANT MY PIZZA AND COFFEE......  Uh oh, here comes dat nurse wit dat needle and evil leer.......
 I wonder if DTA could be bribed inta doing a punitive strike on dis location and a emergency pic up and a ride ta the bar?
