Election of a New Vice President

Well, isn't this something. However, I prefer to not be considered, as it would not be fair to the rest of the organization.  I must decline your offer.

To be painfully honest, I don't think I could discharge the responsibilities in the manner which the office deserves.  You need someone who can dedicate the focus, attention and time necessary to provide the drive and direction needed for an effective AoF. The shameful fact that this thread had to be brought to my attention only accentuates  that I am not able to so do. I shall remain a dedicated member freelancer and offer whatever experience and advice I can but I don't think I am the right person for the position. I am humbled by your confidence. Thank you very much.

All things considered I would suggest 911 as one I believe would be completely capable. I have known him some time and he has consistently proven himself a dedicated member and a thoughtful leader. I believe he would do the AoF great service. He has my complete confidence and support. I nominate 911.

Wow... Thanks WW, that means alot. it really does. And since WW isn't in, then i guess i'll have to nominate myself... Cause i really don't know any other members. I've spoken with some and there nice guys.

To be honest, and I will PM Allain about this. We have a growing base of Romanian Players and I believe that Allain is already listed as a vice leader.  If we have such a strong Romanian base we are going to need him on board to run the Eastern European wing for us, as my Romanian is non existant.  I think I could be right in saying that 911, with the three nominations is as good as clear on the Vice President's position.

Please post here if you agree that 911 should be Vice Pres with Allain as Vice leader and responsible for our Romanian players.

Should we not wait for a vote b4 giving someone an office?Just a question the date was set so let the process work ,this is nothing against ANYONE.It is just that as a clan once a decision is made regarding procedure we must stay the course. Just my thoughts

Well the date is set to Firday, April 13th 2007. So we can wait., and i agree with ya NiteStarr.
But no one has posted here other then about 4 or 5 people.... and considering we have many more people in the clan.
As far as Allain goes, i think he would rather be Vice Leader then VP? I don't even know which is a considered to be a  higher " rank ".

Before the voting, I need clarification.

Is Allain a leader in any capacity or not? Zeb's point about a large contingent of Eastern Europeans is quite valid. His presence on teh Board is probablyu a good idea. So... is he or is he not already. I hate to put you on the spot, Zeb ol' buddy, but "I believe" needs to be "I know" so we will know. I wager it will effect the voting.

I think that vice commander and vice president might be the same thing, so I still vote for Allias as he is very helpful and knowledgeable about the Void.  When I first started my character he was a lot of help to me, and I have seen him do the same for other new members.  This is a big part of what a Second in Command should be doing.  I have no knowledge about Watch Wolf as I have had little contact with him.  My opinion and my vote is based only upon experience, and the other person who comes to mind for this position would be Sang.  
 Deciding between these 2 was dificult, and the deciding factor was that I haven't seen Sang for quite a while now.  
 Reguardless of who wins, though, I will support that person if assistance is needed in performing your duties as Vice President.

Given the apparent Voter Apathy... .....I have decided to make an executive decision.  It would be unfair to Allain given all his hard work to have him "demoted" in any way. So the situation stands as such.

911 - Vice President  & Allain -  Co-leader (these two positions have the same level of authority and both are members of the board)  

911 will be responsible for overseeing any recruitment of  mainly English speaking newcomers and dealing with the day to day running of AoF in my absence. He has authority to negotiate treaties

Allain will be responsible for overseeing the Romanian speaking and Eastern European players that ask to join or come under our wing. He will assist when and where able in the running of AoF along with 911. Allain has been our greatest asset in recruitment and as Argh has stated he is one of the most helpful players about - not taking anything away from the rest of our efforts.  Allain also has authority to negotiate treaties.

I will alter the membership list accordingly. The Judge's decision is FINAL
